My Experience at BetUS

I’m thrilled to bring you this complete BetUS review, so that I can provide as much honest information as possible and give you an idea if you should be using this site. BetUS is one of the top gambling sites for US bettors and has a strong reputation all over the world. The fact that it’s been around since 1994 certainly helps.

In my experience, I found that the BetUS sportsbook is exceptional while their online casino offerings aren’t too far behind. There are some minor downsides related to banking and bonuses, but nothing too dramatic.  Read on to find out my full thoughts and opinions on this site.

BetUS Pros & Cons

  • Great sportsbook for US bettors
  • Additional resources for sports bettors
  • Biggest sports betting bonuses in the industry
  • A long and reputable track record
  • Many blackjack tournaments

  • Difficult bonuses
  • Fewer banking options than many sites
  • Casino Jackpots Are Hard to Find

If you want more info on each, check the dropdowns below or simply read the full BetUS review.

BetUS is focused on the American market, and you can really tell by the variety of options that includes traditional pre-game markets, live betting, futures, and props. They also include key features like Bet Boosters and Prop Builders that enhance the experience a great deal. US Sports bettors will feel like they’re at a fantastic betting buffet every day!

On top of the betting options, BetUS does a great job with extra amenities that sports bettors will love. That includes their Locker Room, which is like having a top-notch sports news site right at your fingertips, and BetUS TV, with video features on all the key sports. BetUS also offers plenty of sports betting contests to give you a show to win big with little to no risk.

BetUS features some of the top welcome bonuses in the entire industry, especially in terms of the high limits on their promotions. No one offers more than the 100% welcome bonus up to $2,500 (+25% in casino chips). You can also take advantage of bonuses even after you’ve signed up, such as their re-up sports bonuses that can give you as much as 50% of free play.

A lot of sites might make you nervous because they’ve only just begun, and you’re worried that they might not be that reliable. BetUS has been doing is since 1994, which should give you a ton of comfort that you can gamble there with no worries.

Tournaments add spice to the proceedings at online casinos by giving you the chance to win a lot of money without a lot of investment. Many sites feature slot tournaments, but they’re largely based on luck. At BetUS, you can play Blackjack tournaments on an almost daily basis and use your strategy to help you win big.

You’ll only have seven days to meet the rollover requirements and clear the major bonuses at BetUS. The offers also require a $100 minimum deposit to qualify. Those can be difficult restrictions for people who might not have the time to gamble regularly.

While BetUS does allow for cryptocurrency wagering, the number of coins they accept is a bit lower than what you’ll find from other sites. For those who are a little deeper into crypto, you might be frustrated that you can’t use your favorite coins. The good news is that the crypto coins that they do accept, such as Bitcoin, offer quick payouts and no withdrawal fees.

BetUS has progressive slots courtesy of Nucleus Gaming, which is a good thing. The problem is that they lack any way to search specifically for these games and they don’t label them as progressives. That means you have to scroll blindly in the hope that you find one, which can be a tedious process.

BetUS Bonuses and Promotions

BetUS offers a wide selection of bonuses and promotions, including some off the most substantial welcome deals in the entire industry. Here are the welcome bonuses they offer for first-time depositors, beginning with their sports bonus:

BetUS Sports Bonus

Criteria BetUS Industry Average Industry Best
Match % 100% 100% 100% (BetUS and others)
Min Deposit $100 $25 $10 (BetNow)
Max Bonus $2,500 $1,000 $2,500 (BetUS)
Wagering Requirements 10x 10x 5x (Bovada)

BetUS also includes a 25% bonus up to $625 for casino games as part of their sports welcome package. The size of the package is outstanding, and the rollover is reasonable, but the minimum deposit is much higher than average.  If you can live with that, it’s one of the best offers available to US players.

Plus, there’s an even bigger bonus for crypto deposits that I talk about below.

Before we get there, here is a look at their casino bonus and how it stacks up against the industry average.

BetUS Casino Bonus

Criteria BetUS Industry Average Best
Match % 150% 200% 500% (DuckyLuck)
Min Deposit $50 $25 $10 (BetNow)
Max Bonus $3,000 $2,500 $10,000 (LasVegas USA)
Wagering Requirements 30x 35x 25x (Bovada)

BetUS offers an above-average bonus in terms of absolute value, but the match percentage is slightly smaller than other top online casinos. The wagering requirements are more than reasonable, but it’s a bit disappointing that the minimum deposit is on the high side again.

BetUS also includes temporary bonuses that come and go throughout the year, so check their promo page frequently for exclusive offers.

Also, don’t forget to take advantage of promotions that are available all the time, such as the ones listed below.

This one mimics their welcome sports package in that it adds a casino bonus element. It boosts the levels, however, rising to 150% up to $3,750 for sports and 50% up to $1,250 for the casino. That makes it a total of 200% up to $5,000, but keep in mind that it also raises the sports rollover to 15x and the minimum deposit is still $100.

As is the case with the sports crypto package at BetUS, you’re getting increased percentages and limits with this bonus: 250% up to $10,000. That’s a lot, but keep in mind that you also have to deal with an increased rollover of 40x.

There are six different levels of the BetUS loyalty program, progressing from Blue (the lowest tier) to Black (the highest tier.) The higher levels bring you perks such as free play, higher deposit bonuses, exclusive contact numbers, and player tournaments.
When you start playing, you’ll get one point for every dollar wager, although that ratio decreases as you reach certain betting milestones ($500 and $1,000). To move up levels, you have to reach specific point totals in a “season” at BetUS, which runs for a year starting in August one year and ending at the end of July the following year. For example, 5,000 season points gets you Silver status and 12,000 helps you make it to the Gold level.
There’s also a reload bonus tied into the BetUS loyalty program. Regular players can get anywhere from 10% to 50% based on how much you deposit. If you’re in one of the higher loyalty levels, those percentage levels rise.

This is a kind of standard reload bonus that’s available all the time at BetUS with any deposit into your account of $100 or higher. The rollover for the cash bonus is 3x and the casino bonus rollover is 30x. You can use crypto deposit to activate this bonus this bonus.

This is another crypto-based promotion at BetUS, and it’s available at any time, which means you get a boost whenever you want to reload your account. It takes a minimum deposit of $100 and you can get a maximum amount of $500. In this case, the rollover on the 20% bonus is 6x bonus + deposit.

This bonus is only available to you if you used one of the crypto welcome packages when you signed up. If you did, you can get 100% of your next two crypto deposits at BetUS up to $2,500 for sports betting. The rollover stands at 10x.

BetUS Sports Betting

As I mentioned near the top of this BetUS review, their sportsbook is their calling card in the industry. When you check out the betting menu, you’re likely to be overwhelmed, in the best possible way, by what they have to offer in terms of their markets, both for pre-game and live betting.

The sportsbook is definitely geared toward American audiences, with contests and wider range of markets connected to US favorites like football and basketball.

I prepared this BetUS review just before the start of the NBA season, and I was delighted with the number of props and specials at your disposal. You can find odds on all statistical leaders, specials for popular players, and a ton of team specials. The same abundance is there for all popular US sports.

That’s not to say you can’t find international sports on the menu, however. Horse racing fans might want to note that there isn’t a separate racebook at BetUS, but rather the sport is just another category. It’s worth noting that horses are different than other sports, as odds are based on betting pools instead of what oddsmakers decide (pari-mutuel).

Most betting sites give you access to all the major games and bets, but BetUS beats many of them in terms of margins that are around 5% for all big US leagues.

What sets them even further apart are the extras, such as the special bets (odds boosts, prop builders), contests, and extra information (courtesy of their “Locker Room.”)

I thoroughly enjoyed sports betting at BetUS, even dipping into the extra features I mentioned (I won with my odds boost but came up short with the prop I built.)

If you want more information on some of the special features and markets offered, I’ve got you covered in the sections below.

BetUS essentially has its own network devoted to all aspects of sports betting. You can check out shows on all the top sports that are geared towards betting information. I checked out the NFL show and found that the commentators knew their stuff and the betting information was extremely useful. Even when I didn’t agree with their picks, I felt like I went into my own bets with a firmer grasp on things.

The betting contests allow you to get involved in other ways than just traditional gambling. Plus, you can usually get in for a small amount (even free in some cases) and the prizes waiting at the end for the winners are very substantial.
For example, the $25,000 Pick’Em contest for the NFL is free to enter, and you can win up to $1,000 of free play weekly or $2,500 if you’re the season-long winner. There are also some contests that you can get into at different buy-in levels. The NFL Survivor pools fees range from $10 to $500, giving you more flexibility. These contests are fun when you’re in the middle of them, but they can also be quite lucrative.
As you might expect, sports and leagues that are popular in the US dominate the contests offered by BetUS. The NFL is the main focus, but there are contests devoted to the NBA, MLB, and NHL, while NCAA bowl games (in football) and March Madness (in basketball) also are included. For a little more international flavor, the Man of the Match contest offers cash prizes to soccer bettors.

You might think it’s not a wise move for a betting site to provide as much information to their bettors as possible. That’s exactly what BetUS does with its “Locker Room.” You can look at the featured picks, search based on the sport you want to bet, or even dive into specific matchups for key contests.
You can find stats, in-depth analysis offered by their handicappers on specific betting opportunities, and more. Using the Locker Room at BetUS won’t guarantee you a winning wager, but it will definitely make you a more informed bettor, which is always a good thing.
The Locker Room follows whatever US sports are in season. Their NFL coverage is quite impressive, with dozens of articles each week devoted to the league. They also go heavy on soccer for international fans, covering the Premier League, Bundesliga, and Serie A, among others.

The BetUS politics betting menu focuses mostly on upcoming elections. There’s a nice mix of bets that are based on elections that are coming up shortly and futures for elections right down the road. For example, when I checked, there were futures for the US Senatorial Elections that were still more than a year away at the time.
While the focus is on the US and Europe, I found political markets from far-flung locations like India and New Zealand. There were also bets you could make on the actions of key political figures. BetUS is definitely on the high end when it comes to political wagering options.

A lot of sites offer more variety in the esports section compared to BetUS, but it’s still a decent addition if that’s not your main target. There was a lot about esports in the Locker Room too, which can be quite helpful. As someone who doesn’t know a lot about this particular betting niche, I could easily find relevant context.
Not only do they provide key news on esports, but they deliver information on all the key matches, including how you can stream them for effective live betting (which you can also do at BetUS).
The variety of esports is a little bit lower than what you can find on other sites. BetUS is still good enough if you want to occasionally place a wager on big esports events. For more in-depth coverage, you might want to join sites like Thunderpick and BetOnline, where you will find more games and tournaments.

I loved the entertainment section I found at BetUS. The first thing I saw was a whole list of awards shows which were available for futures bets. As someone who loves streaming movies and TV, I had a blast going through and placing some value bets on the Emmys and Oscars.
BetUS is also somewhat unique in that they also have a Novelty betting section. This is a crazy quilt of betting opportunities, with everything from celebrity-focused bets to random questions about the next Pope and the next James Bond. Hey, I’m all for being able to bet on everything, and this site certainly gives you that chance!

BetUS Casino

  • Number of Casino Games: 450+
  • Software Developers: BetSoft, Nucleus Gaming, Mobitaz Solutions, Visionary iGaming
  • Live Dealer Games: Yes
  • Demo Mode: Yes

The BetUS casino doesn’t get as much hype as their sportsbook, which is understandable because the sportsbook rivals Bovada as the very best in the industry. But I thoroughly enjoyed my casino experience at BetUS. In fact, if we’re going to keep the Bovada comparison going, this is an area where they outdo their rival.

450 games in an online casino is above average in the industry, as just about every category of games at BetUS has a deeper menu than other sites. Everything is laid out pretty clearly in the interface, as you can search for games by category (blackjack, slots, etc.) or just scroll through the whole list. However, it would be nice if you could search based on software provider or RTP, neither of which is available at BetUS.

I do like the fact that the betting limits for each game are listed on the main icon. Other sites make you click on the game to find that information, so I’m glad BetUS removes that extra step. I’m also glad that they allow demo mode; simply click on the icon that says “Play for Fun” to try out any game you want.

The live dealer selection is solid as well, with solid Visionary iGaming software delivering the goods in what I call the Big 4 of the live casino world: roulette, blackjack, baccarat and Super 6. I’d like to see more jackpot potential at BetUS, as they lack cool innovations like Hot Drop Jackpots. All in all, however, I enjoyed my play, and it went smoothly every step of the way.

Read below to find out about the different game categories available at the BetUS casino.

I’ve already voiced my main problem with the BetUS slot menu above: the fact that there’s no way to find progressive games with ease. Beyond that, I was very pleased with the selection. Over 350 slot games is quite a lot, and they’re all coming from top-notch providers like Nucleus Gaming and Betsoft, which means you’re getting fair, glitch-free action.
Now, I’m not the biggest fan of slots, if only because I like to play games where there’s a little strategy involved. That said, I had some fun goofing around on the penny slots at BetUS, such as Woodlanders and The Family JP. I didn’t win, but at that denomination, I didn’t lose a lot either.
If you’re more of a high-stakes slot player, games like Make You Rich and Mafia Family offer $100 max bets. With such a wide selection, slot players will find something fresh just about every day they play at BetUS.
For more help picking the top titles, one of my colleagues has shared an article with his favorite BetUS slots, so check them out.

BetUS features 20 blackjack games in the main casino, and that’s before you get into the dozen or so included in the live casino. I loved the fact you could play for minimum bets as low as 10 cents per hand. Of course, if you wanted to go for a more high-stakes action, BetUS features a few blackjack offerings, such as Double Exposure, with $50 minimums and a $500 max bet.
There are also some cool variations on the main game for those who want variety, with Switch and Super 7 catching my eye. When I played, I stuck to a more traditional Single Deck Blackjack game, and I turned a little profit out of the experience. The variety on this display in this department is what makes it worthwhile.

BetUS offers 40 automated table games where the outcomes are decided by RNG generators. I should mention here that this is as close as you’ll get to poker at this site. They offer against-the-house options such as Caribbean Stud or Let It Ride, but you can’t play in poker tournaments or cash games against other players.
Roughly 20 percent of the table games are devoted to different versions of roulette. I personally went back to childhood and played a little Casino War at 10 cents per hand. That’s a game you won’t find at many other sites, which is another example of how the variety at BetUS can really come in handy.

Oddly enough, this is one area where the variety at BetUS runs out of steam. They only offer six video poker variants, which was a bummer for me, because I love video poker. You also lack the option to play multiple hands at once, which is common at many other sites.
The range of limits for video poker at BetUS is $0.25 to $10, except for Double Bonus which offers only a $5 max bet. Let me be clear: six video poker options aren’t criminally low or anything. Still, this is one area of the BetUS casino which can be improved.

What BetUS calls “Other” games, other sites call “Specialty” games. It’s mostly the same idea. These are the misfit toys of the online casino world, games that don’t belong to any of the other main categories. At BetUS, half of the 12 “other” games they offer are digital scratch cards.
Some of these games tend to have low limits (some with 50-cent max bets), so you can try them out and see if one catches your eye. A few, such as Aztec Warriors and Triple Cash or Crash, offer $100 max bets.
I played a little keno at a penny a pop and actually came out a few bucks ahead thanks to some lucky numbers. BetUS doesn’t have as many of these types of games as other sites, but I don’t consider that too big of a drawback.

BetUS App

Because I know a lot of people like to bet and play on the go, I made sure to test BetUS on a mobile device. In my case, it was my Android phone. Here’s what I found.

BetUS Casino App

When I talk about BetUS and an “app,” keep in mind that I’m referring to the mobile version of their gambling site. They don’t have a downloadable app (not many gambling sites do these days.) Once you visit the site on your device’s browser, you’ll immediately see a version of the site that’s tailored for your phone.

In the case of BetUS, that is done so in a way that provides maximum clarity and a smart interface that allows you to get around with the touch screen of the phone quite well. Even with mobile slots, I saw great detail and had no trouble making the game doing what I wanted (except for helping me get a big winner!) The BetUS mobile casino is a smooth transition of the site to smaller screens.

BetUS Betting App

The sports betting app at BetUS also delivered the goods. I checked it out by live betting a Major League Baseball game. I didn’t notice any extra lag times between when I made the bet and when it was confirmed, which is huge when you’re making live bets.

I also made sure to try and navigate to all the different sports and markets on the site. There were no issues whatsoever. BetUS certainly has their mobile sports betting game in order.

BetUS Deposits and Payouts

BetUS doesn’t have what you would call a “Banking” page, so I had to do some searching to find the info on deposits and withdrawals. Take a look at the chart below for all the pertinent information:

Banking Method Min/Max Deposit Min/Max Withdrawal Fastest/Average Payout Time
Visa $50/$2,499 No Withdrawal No Withdrawal
MasterCard $50/$2,499 No Withdrawal No Withdrawal
American Express $50/$2,499 No Withdrawal No Withdrawal
Bitcoin $10/$50,000 $50/$5,000 24 hours/48 hours
Bitcoin Cash $10/$50,000 $50/$5,000 24 hours/48 hours
Litecoin $10/$50,000 $50/$5,000 24 hours/48 hours
Ethereum $10/$50,000 $50/$5,000 24 hours/48 hours
Bank Wire $50/$2,499 $50/$3,000 12 days/15 days
Check No Deposit $100/$3,000 3 days/7 days

Like many sites, BetUS is devoted to cryptocurrency as its preferred method of banking. The perks you get from using crypto are huge, including much faster settlement times and low to no fees.

One interesting feature that BetUS offers with its banking that I couldn’t find at many other sites was the ability to deposit funds by talking to an agent on the phone. I guess if you’re a little technophobic or want to ask questions about something, it’s good to have. Just keep in mind it doesn’t prioritize or speed up your settlement times in any way.

I love the fact that BetUS processes payments over the weekends and on holidays, which helps make their crypto withdrawals get to you a little faster than at other sites.

Is BetUS Legit?

BetUS is a legit gambling site with a proper license, fair games, and more than enough extra measures to protect the players. Here’s more info on that.

Gambling License TLS Additional Testing Other Security Measures
Comoros Union TLS 1.3, X25519, and AES_128_GCM Audit Trail RNG Games

The above table features the technical information about how BetUS ensures that your data is safe and everything you do at the site Is fair. The license can be better, but the audit trail, the TLS encryptions, and the legit casino developers that work with the gambling site give me enough reasons to trust BetUS.

On top of that, the site has been around since 1994 and has an excellent reputation, which is a nice bonus.

Overall, BetUS does more than enough to protect its customers, and there’s no reason to doubt the site’s credibility.

BetUS Customer Service

To test the customer service aspect of BetUS, I made sure to contact them in every way available. That meant giving them a call (I called New Account Management, but there are six different customer service numbers based on your specific needs), sending them an email ([email protected]), and doing a live chat. The questions I posed:

  • What’s the maximum NBA betting limit?
  • Can I get a second welcome bonus if I fail to clear the first one on time?
  • What is your policy on card counting in blackjack?

Here is some information on the responses that I received:

Channel Response Time Helpfulness Availability Languages
Email 1 day 4 24/7 English
Phone Immediate 5 24/7 English
Chat 2 minutes 4 24/7 English

I was pleased with the response that I received. All three responses were friendly and courteous, even with that card-counting question being a kind of loaded one. The e-mail response obviously took a little bit longer, but it was still on point and helpful. The rep I spoke to on the phone couldn’t have been nicer.

I should also note that the FAQ section at BetUS is as thorough as any I’ve seen, so it’s likely you can get a lot of those questions answered even before you need to reach out. Overall, their customer service team did a fantastic job, and I’m guessing they’ll do the same for you as well.

How to Join BetUS and Start Gambling for Real Money

I know that some of you reading this might be somewhat new to the online gambling process. For that reason, I want to help by walking you through the sign-up process at BetUS, as well as the steps to take to make deposits and withdrawals. Finally, I’ll show you how to certify your account.

How to Sign Up at BetUS

Let’s start with how to create an account at BetUS:

Step 1. Visit the BetUS site.

Step 2: Click on the “Get Started” link at the top right of the page.

BetUS, Getting Started

Step 3: Fill out the information required of you. Besides the page below, you’ll also have to provide your address, a password, and how you heard about them.

BetUS, Contact Details

Overall, it’s a pretty simple process. You’ll be ready to start in a minute or two.

How to Deposit at BetUS

Now I’ll walk you through the deposit process.

Step 1: Pick a deposit method.

Banking Method, BetUS

Step 2: Choose a deposit amount (it can be predetermined or custom, it’s your call).

BetUS, Deposit Amount

Step 3: Decide if you want to activate one of the welcome bonuses:

BetUS, Bonuses

Step 4: Fill in card information (shown below) or send money to their crypto address.

BetUS, Card Details

That’s all it takes. You can then use that money to start gambling at BetUS. The whole process of signup and deposit shouldn’t take more than five minutes or so.

How to Withdraw from BetUS

Withdrawal can take place a couple different ways. You can simply call the following toll-free number: 1-800-620-1905. An account specialist can help you every step of the way.

You can also do the following:

Step 1: Click on your account (the MyBetUS icon in the top right of the screen.)

Step 2: Choose method of payment and amount you wish to withdraw.

This is an easy process. However, before you get to that point, you have to go through an account verification process.

How to Verify My BetUS Account

BetUS must verify you are who you say you are before you can get paid, a standard process for most online gambling sites. That means sending BetUS a copy of your ID and your address. In the worst-case scenario, it could take about a week before you can get paid. I admit that’s an annoyance, but once you’ve done that, it’s easy to get paid at BetUS.

Once again, you’ll need to send them the following:

  • Proof of ID
  • Proof of address

Most sites require some sort of verification process, so don’t let that turn you off BetUS. It is a bit more cumbersome than what you’ll have to do at other sites.

Final Verdict – Is BetUS Worth Joining?

BetUS is a site that lives up to its reputation as one of the finest in the industry. Just the sportsbook along impresses me so much that I would recommend it even if the casino was a complete train wreck. Of course, the casino is actually rock solid and better than some sites that have only a casino and don’t have to worry about a sportsbook.

The payment process is a bit of a hassle, and the bonuses aren’t as great as they seem on paper because of the quick expiration times. All of that pales, however, compared to all the good stuff you get in return.

The variety of US sports betting markets and the abundance of casino games was more than enough for me to enjoy BetUS. I’m sure most gamblers will feel the same way.
