VIPSlots.com is not a new website name, but it is now an updated addition to the online casino community. The original VIPSlots-titled site shut down in 2011 after just three years of operation.

At the end of 2017, CyberRock Entertainment acquired the name and launched its version.

The standout features include the ability to register using Facebook Connect, as well as to purchase discounted slot packages. For example, you can buy 450 spins on the Slotfather slot game for $200 instead of paying the $270 full price rate.

If you know you’re going to be spinning the reels for quite awhile, these packages may be the way to go to help boost your bottom line. When I checked into the “shopping” area, there were more than thirty different discounts currently available.

About the VIP Slots Casino

VIP Slots is a flash casino, so no download is required. There are nearly five hundred casino games that cover slots, table games, video poker, scratch off cards, and instant games. There’s also a five-tier VIP club, a welcome bonus, and banking in six different currencies.

That’s the good news.

The “not so good news” is that CyberRock Entertainment has been known to have some issues with player payments, and I found a few other red flags at first glance on VIPSlots.com.

CyberRock is known to have Curaçao eGaming licensing and regulation, but there isn’t any designation on the website. Additionally, some of the information that is listed at the bottom of the homepage is incorrect.

For example, you’ll find Vivo Gaming, iSoftBet, PariPlay, and Microgaming listed amongst the software providers, but when I individually searched via company name, no casino games were matching up to those four.

You’ll also see logos for Apple, Google Play, and Microsoft prominently placed in that footer area, but they have no active links. It seems like they should be promoting casino apps, but the logos are, instead, a road to nowhere.

Who Can Play at VIP Slots?

The terms and conditions generically state that the site is open to players in areas where online betting is allowed. But, I did comb through more of the information and came across some more specific guidelines.

The following jurisdictions are noted as being restricted from depositing on VIPSlots.com as well as exempt from bonus programs. So, I would say it’s safe to say that these are the official restricted geographical locations:

The United States, France, Italy, Denmark, The United Kingdom, Belgium, The Netherlands, Dutch Caribbean Island, Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, St. Maarten, St. Eustacia, and Saba.

Software Suppliers

I did make mention of this already – there are ten different software providers represented on the homepage of VIPSlots.com. However, I only found casino games offered by six of them.

The ones that do provide casino games for this website include Rival Gaming, Sandstorm, BetSoft, Playson, Arrows Edge, and Spinomenal.

Through the gaming search bar, I was unable to locate anything from Vivo, iSoftBet, PariPlay, or Microgaming. To be fair, this is a brand-new site that’s only been live for a little over a month, so there may be more games coming soon.

Pros and Cons

PROS

  • Plenty of Casino Games
  • Video Poker
  • A Store

Cons

  • Deposit Fees
  • €100 Minimum Withdrawal
  • Absence of Information

Plenty of Casino Games

Even though VIPSlots.com has just launched, it already provides registered customers with nearly five hundred casino games. While there isn’t a live casino, you’ll find 345 slots, 84 other casino games that include video poker and table games, and 50 scratch cards and instant win options. Using six software companies allows VIP to expand the variety and number of betting possibilities.

Video Poker

Video poker can be difficult to find online. When it is offered, there are usually only a few different games – enough to appease dedicated players. I enjoy video poker, so I was pleased to see a substantial amount of games. While some were duplicates, as similar games are offered by different software providers, there are still plenty to choose from in both single deck and multi-hand variations.

A Store

VIP Slots has a unique concept that I think is valuable for slot players and adds an exciting twist to the casino. Discounted “spins” are offered in the online store. Players can buy slot spins in bulk and save anywhere from 20% to 60% off the regular per-game pricing. When I last checked, there were more than thirty different offers providing players with plenty of choices.

Deposit Fees

Three percent. That’s what you’ll be paying if you opt to transfer funds to the VIP Slots casino. All deposit methods, except paysafecard, generate an automatic charge. While that may prompt you to buy your paysafecard voucher, you’ll still pay in the end. Anyone using paysafecard for transferring money into a betting account ends up paying a relatively significant charge (€35 to €70) when it comes to payout time.

€100 Minimum Withdrawal

This casino is not for conservative bettors. I know that some people enjoy keeping their stakes as low as possible and are excited to cash out €20 or €30, but that’s not possible with VIPSlots.com. The minimum withdrawal amount is €100, and that’s much higher than many casino counterparts.

Absence of Information

Not only is licensing and regulatory information notably absent from the homepage and terms and conditions, but promotional offers are also missing. There is a publicized 200% welcome bonus offer for new players, but there’s no note regarding the maximum reward available. Additionally, the wagering requirement is also absent. When you head over to the promotions page, you won’t find any information, but instead you’ll find advice to contact customer service.

Game Selection

The casino offers close to five hundred casino games. While you won’t find a live casino, sports betting, or a poker room, you will be able to easily sort through slots, table games, video poker, and specialty variations.

Because there are multiple software providers, you’ll see the same title of some games offered a few times. For example, there are a few Joker Poker games, and you can tell the difference through the logos that are used to designate each of them.

Mobile Casino

Nearly four hundred of the games are available in the mobile casino. I pulled it up on an iPad, and it was incredibly easy to use with no app necessary.

Unlike the full site, the mobile casino’s menu includes a link for live dealer games, but when I clicked it, a live dealer area didn’t open up. Instead, I was taken to a registration page.

Promotions

The “promotions” section is where I usually get to share quite a bit of information. After all, online casinos rely on bonus programs to attract new players and retain the ones they have, so they tend to be plentiful.

Welcome bonuses are usually front and center on the homepage, and the promotions page usually goes in-depth on the new player offer again, as well as other specials like reload bonuses, free spins, cash back programs, and different types of incentives.

VIPSlots.com does list a 200% welcome bonus on the homepage as well as “up to 200 free spins.” That’s where the information ends, though. There aren’t wagering rules listed except for a small blurb in the terms and conditions section that records instant wins, slots, and scratch tickets as the only gaming that will offset the wagering requirement.

There’s also a notation about the bonus being uncashable, so free play funds are deducted from the cashout amount.

Aside from that, the rollover isn’t posted anywhere. New players don’t know how many times the bonus needs to be played through or if that stipulation includes the deposit combined with the bonus play funds.

I contacted customer service and was greeted promptly and was advised that the welcome bonus was a 200% deposit match (no mention of free spins). I followed up by asking for the rollover information, and the agent disappeared and has yet to return to the live chat, even though it’s several hours later.

The promotions page that, on other casinos, would be a wealth of information, is empty and simply advises players or potential customers to contact customer service.

I did note that the mobile website listed a follow-up bonus of 50% cash back on the second deposit, but that information is not recorded on the full site.

Banking

Banking with VIP Slots has a few unwelcome surprises if you don’t read everything first. I want to bring some essential terms and conditions to your attention, so you have a complete picture.

First of all, even though this website doesn’t accept US players, it does impose deposit fees. It’s rare for a casino to command these kinds of charges except for US-catering sites. But on VIP Slots, unless you use paysafecard to deposit, you are hit with a 3% fee.

However, if you do use the paysafecard, you’ll end up paying anyway when it comes time to cash out. Paysafecard users are charged for payouts, whereas players who use other deposit methods are not.

Next, there is a €100 minimum withdrawal amount, and that is relatively high. Many of today’s online operators allow €20 payouts or even less. €100 is significant, as it will deter some recreational players who look to move small amounts of money back and forth.

The last notable thing about the banking program is the extended payout turnaround of five to ten business days. During the pending period, the casino allows for reverse withdrawals. For some people, that’s a benefit. For others, it can be detrimental.

Deposit Methods

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Sofort
  • DotPay
  • Finnish eBanking
  • GiroPay
  • Qiwi Wallet
  • Trustly
  • Neteller
  • Paysafecard
  • Bank Transfer

Withdrawal Methods

  • Neteller
  • Bank Transfers
  • UpayCard

VIP Club

There is a loyalty club for all players, aptly named the VIP Club. It’s five-tiered, but new players can only see the benefits offered by the first level.

Some of the rewards include comps, the gift catalog, VIP betting and withdrawal limits, and exclusive tournaments.

Customer Service

As I mentioned previously, I did have the opportunity to contact VIP Slots’ customer service department as I wanted to find out more about the welcome bonus.

You can call, email, or live chat with a customer service agent. I chose the live chat and did receive a near-immediate response. The interaction started out pleasant and informative but was somehow cut short after I asked about the bonus wagering requirements.

After I asked that follow up question, the chat ended abruptly, as the agent never responded to me again.

Would I Play at the VIP Slots Casino

When you first pull up VIPSlots.com, you’ll see a well-designed website that shoots off mini online fireworks when you navigate from section to section. Between the look and the shopping premise where discounted slot packages are available, it’s a clever operation with a fresh take on online betting.

Unfortunately, it’s not enough. I couldn’t find licensing information and I feel that some of the information is misleading. The bottom of the homepage lists software providers that don’t provide any gaming for the casino. Additionally, it showcases logos for Apple, Google Play, and Microsoft that don’t represent anything. There aren’t any apps as far as I can tell, and the logos have no links associated with them.

The deposit fees and long-drawn turnaround time for payouts also detract from the service. For a brand new casino, I would hope that it could do better than five to ten days for a cashout, but the delay seems to stem from internal processing.

I was impressed with the selection of games, especially the video poker and specialty offerings, but found it surprising that there weren’t any progressive jackpot slots, nor live dealer tables available.

If you’re an avid slots player and are intrigued by the discounted gaming packages, that may be enough to entice you to give VIP Slots a try, but I think it needs to go above and beyond to cater to its inaugural players and prove itself. If it can step up its game and post bonus information and alter its banking structure to eliminate fees and speed up the payments, then it may become a good, viable online casino option.
