After spending almost twenty years in the online gambling business, it is rare when I come across a name I don’t recognize when lining up a review. In the case of Tipbet, it is likely because the site hasn’t been around all that long.

Don’t confuse their lack of tenure with a lack of experience; as you will see with this review, this company knows exactly what they are doing and what needs to be done to become a dominant player in a highly competitive industry.

About Tipbet

Tipbet is a relative newcomer to the scene, having opened in 2015. They clearly have some big backers, as they have been very active at gaming and affiliate shows around the globe since then. This Malta-based company is licensed by the same jurisdiction, lending, even more, credibility to the new brand. It would appear that the management team has a focus on the German market as they have sponsored several sporting entities in that country. It is safe to say that this is no flash in the pan; the team behind Tipbet are clearly here to stay.

Who Can Play at Tipbet

Considering where the company is located and where it is licensed, I was expecting a much longer list of restricted countries for Tipbet. The great news is that the company seems to be looking to acquire as many customers as possible before being told to shut down certain markets. As it stands, these are the only countries that are currently unable to access the Tipbet site for real money purposes

  • France
  • Iran
  • United States
  • Italy
  • United Kingdom

Software Suppliers

From a casino perspective, Tipbet did not waste any time creating partnerships with multiple casino software providers. Given how recently they joined the competitive online landscape, the management team understands that an excellent offering is the first step to gaining and retaining players. For the casino product, Tipbet uses Microgaming and Net Entertainment as their main suppliers, while also featuring content from Booming Games and GameArt. As we will discuss several times during this review, the casino also uses three different Live Dealer partners, which is the first time I have ever seen this in any casino that I have reviewed.

Tipbet players can access their games via a downloadable casino client, as well as through instant play games. One facet of their business that it is evident this casino has spent a lot of time on is the mobile side; the mobile site is incredibly well designed, and there is a downloadable app available in markets where Android and Apple allow.

The Good Stuff and The Bad

PROS

  • The Largest Selection of Live Dealer Games
  • Incredible Website Navigation

Cons

  • Cumbersome Verification Process
  • Lack of VIP or Comp Program

The Largest Selection of Live Dealer Games

Wow. I have done hundreds of reviews, but I have never seen a casino with this many options in the Live Casino section. Tipbet uses three different suppliers for their games (Evolution Gaming, HollywoodTV and Media Live). This adds up to dozens of tables featuring many different types of dealers. Seriously, stop reading this and get on to Tipbet to see for yourself!

Incredible Website Navigation

Considering all the bets and games that Tipbet has to offer, getting around their website is surprisingly easy. I love the way the different verticals are laid out, and when you select the area of gaming you want to visit, there are many clear navigation tools to help you along the way. The website just went through a major overhaul, and the results are fantastic – well done to their web developers!

Cumbersome Verification Process

I haven’t had to deal with this yet, but if there is one complaint I read about more than anything with this casino, it is the amount of documentation you need to provide to have your account verified. Since you need a verified account to process a withdrawal, this can be a bit of a pain in the ass. I understand why gaming sites require this information; I am hopeful that Tipbet continues to streamline the process for their players.

Lack of VIP or Comp Program

I will cover this a little further down, but if you are planning to join this site looking to be a VIP, you had better go elsewhere. There is nothing to indicate that Tipbet has either a Comp or VIP program at this time.

Sports

Well, Tipbet was indeed launched as a sports-first site, and that is pretty clear when you hit their homepage. On the left-hand side of the screen you can see a list of sports, and when you toggle between them, you will be amazed by the sheer numbers of events and odds on those events that are presented. Managing this many options could seem overwhelming; Tipbet does an excellent job of taking you through the navigation flow in a way that you can find the event you want to bet on in no time.

The depth of the sports they offer for wagering is vast; here is a sample of the sports currently found on their homepage:

  • Soccer
  • Tennis
  • Golf
  • Handball
  • Hockey
  • Football
  • Baseball
  • Volleyball
  • Cricket
  • Beach Volleyball
  • Rugby

An excellent feature is the timeline slider that you can toggle between today’s games all the way to all available bets on a particular sport. This is great when you are searching for something to bet on right now, but also want to find some future bets to place on a season that has yet to start.

The site also offers a Live Betting feature. This is excellent for players who want to create more action during a match, perhaps to offset a losing bet they have on the full-time outcome of the game. The Tipbet mobile app was designed with Live Betting in mind; it is very responsive and gives you access to your account and bets in real time.

esports

TipBet Esports

From the launch of the site, Tipbet has made it clear they want to be the leader in eSports betting, and they seem to have a large following of happy players as a result. Unlike most sportsbooks, Tipbet has a full section of their site dedicated to eSports. Many industry experts believe the future of online gaming is in the hands of these eSports leagues; Millennials seem way more interested in these events than actual sporting events, so it is now the gateway for a site to attract new gamblers.

A quick look at the eSports section of Tipbet shows that you can currently place wagers on the following games:

  • League of Legends
  • Dota 2
  • Starcraft 2
  • Counter Strike CS: GO
  • Heroes of the Storm
  • Hearthstone

All the major competitions for these games are covered in the list of available wagers. If you haven’t checked out what is happening in the eSports world, you really should. The games are being broadcast on regular television in many markets, and via YouTube and Twitch, you can find live feeds of many pro teams playing games 24/7.

Virtual Sports

As if betting on real sporting events and people playing video games wasn’t enough, there is a full section dedicated to betting on Virtual Sports. These RNG-based games have been around for almost 15 years but only in the last few years have they become a popular alternative for gamblers. Why would people bet on games that are fake? Well, you can select a soccer match for example, that will end 5 minutes after it starts; no need to drag it out for a full 90!

There are Virtual Sports leagues and events in the following disciplines:

  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Dog Racing
  • Tennis
  • Horse Racing

If you have never experienced Virtual Sports, then Tipbet is a great place to start.

Casino

To say that Casino is secondary to sports betting at Tipbet would be doing a disservice to what Tipbet has accomplished. This casino features well over 600 games for you to play, and with the multiple software vendors in place, you are going to find many variants of games along with a vast amount of stimulating content.

Slots

TipBet Slot Games

I had to stop counting when I got to 400 slots titles; believe me when I say that if you can’t find a slot machine that you enjoy at Tipbet, then you probably shouldn’t be playing them anyway. Slots from all four of their providers can be located in the lobby; all you have to do is filter the games by the vendor to see the differences in the titles.

I couldn’t possibly list all the games here, but here are many that caught my eye as I scrolled through the lobby screens:

Table Games

Not to be outdone, the Table Games area of Tipbet is expansive. What I really like are the way all the tables are laid out in the lobby; giving players the option of sitting at a low-limit table ensures the player doesn’t get too carried away. That type of foresight and compassion is rare to find in this industry, to say the least.

Blackjack players are going to lose themselves in all the options available to them, and between those tables and Roulette, there is enough to fill even the largest of land-based casinos! Check out what they have to offer:

Video Poker

I always like to keep Video Poker to a separate section of my reviews. Why is that, you may ask? Well, first off these games aren’t really Table Games or slots; they fall somewhere in the middle. However, the real reason is that most seasoned gamblers look for these games first; if you find the right machine with the right pay table, you can actually swing the odds in your favor.

With tons of variants and Multi-hand versions of almost every one of them, you will be pleased to find whatever video poker game you are looking for at Tipbet:

  • Deuces Joker Multi-Hand
  • Deuces And Joker
  • Dbl Dbl Bonus

Specialty Games

Games like Scratch Cards, Bingo, and casual games are not overlooked by Tipbet. These games can often be time-fillers while watching a sporting event; they don’t require a lot of thought and yet still scratch the gambling itch, so to speak. Look at the many options in the “Other Games” tab of the Tipbet Casino:

  • Triangulation
  • Scratch Cards
  • Super Bonus Bingo
  • Spingo
  • Samba Bingo
  • Premier Trotting
  • Premier Racing
  • Pharaoh Bingo
  • Mayan Bingo Web
  • Hexaline
  • Germinator
  • Four By Four
  • Enchanted Woods
  • Electro Bingo Web
  • Crown and Anchor
  • Bubble Bonanza

Promotions

TipBet Promotions

The promotions area of the Tipbet website is a bit of a double-edged sword. While there is an excellent Welcome Bonus for all three verticals that they offer, there aren’t any other bonus offers to be had. ON the flip side, the promotions that they currently offer are both unique and intriguing. Let me show you what I mean:

Welcome Offer

Depending on what game you want to play first, there is a specific offer for your first deposit. Here is how they break down:

  • Sports: 200% up to $50
  • Live Betting: 100% up to $100
  • esports: 200% up to $50
  • Casino: 100% to $200

AS you can see, each bonus is slightly varied; obviously, the chances of clearing the bonus is less likely in the casino games, which is why the offer much higher for those players. I love the fact that you can choose which first bonus to take advantage of; I suggest the eSPorts one myself.

Cashout Offer

This is a fantastic promotion, allowing you to essentially sell your live winning ticket back to the site for an offer they give to you. If you are the kind of gambler who loses parlays on the last game or feels like the team you are betting on is going to blow a late lead, then this is the perfect offer for you. On each qualifying betting ticket is an offer to cashout, which updates in real time as the match nears completion. When you want to cashout, you can just click the button, confirm the decision and then the cash will hit your account.

I think this is an incredibly innovative concept, especially since they have a way to alter the offer in real time.

20% Cashback on NetEnt Slots

Rather than offer you cashback across the casino, Tipbet restricts this promotion to their NetEnt slot games. This is typically a promotion designed to prop up failing games, although you aren’t losing out on quality by playing only NetEnt games. My guess is that they get a better rate from NetEnt than from their other partners, so having you lose money in those games is worth a little extra kickback from the casino.

Banking

As far as your options go for making deposits and withdrawals, I wouldn’t say that Tipbet has the most extensive list of solutions. However, what they do have will cover 99% of the traditional gaming public, so you should have no trouble getting money to or from the site.

I don’t see any player complaints about slow paying of accounts, so that is usually a good sign that everything is healthy from an economic standpoint.

Deposit Options

  • EcoPay
  • Maestro
  • MasterCard
  • Neteller
  • Paysafe Card
  • Visa
  • Sofortuberwaisung
  • GiroPay
  • Skrill

Withdrawal Options

  • Bank Wire
  • MasterCard
  • Neteller
  • Visa
  • EcoPayz
  • Skrill

Comp Program

Strangely, it doesn’t seem as though Tipbet offers a comp program at this time. I hope this is something they have on their to-do list for the near future.

VIP Program

There also does not appear to be a VIP program; at least there isn’t one that is listed on their website. However, I did a little digging and found a vacancy for a VIP Customer Support agent on their employment site, so either they have one that is private, or they are planning a VIP program launch very soon.

Customer Service

The Customer Service at Tipbet is very responsive. In fact, you may consider it to be a little too responsive; when I first pulled up their website, after 15 seconds the chat window opened with an agent (or a bot) asking me if I needed any help. That’s a nice touch; I hope it recognizes when I have already come to the site for the first time, and it doesn’t happen regularly.

It would seem obvious then that Tipbet wants to use Live Chat to address your concerns. However, you can also reach them by email if you want something a little more formal. Those of you playing late at night and looking for some small talk, then you are out of luck as it does not appear as though they have any phone numbers listed.

Would I Play at Tipbet?

While at first, I was skeptical as I had never heard of this brand, after doing my research and a thorough review of this site I have to recommend it to anyone who can access it highly. Built on some of the best software in the market, this site does an excellent job catering to all types of gamblers. Their focus on eSports puts them at the top of the list when it comes to gaming sites taking action on those leagues. The casino games are top-notch and have something for everyone. The sports wagering section is clear and easy to navigate, no easy task with so many sports and matches offered. Overall, my experience with this site has been fantastic, and while they could be a little less stingy with the promotions, you simply can’t go wrong with giving Tipbet a try.
