My Experience Reviewing SportsBetting.ag

I’m happy to have you for my SportsBetting.ag review, where I explore everything important about this site that’s been around since 2011. 1 You can play online casino games (including live dealer table), face other players at the poker tables, and/or bet on sports from the same account.

While I’ll go into much further detail below, let me say to start that I was very impressed with what SportsBetting.ag had to offer. Their sportsbook is top of the line, both in terms of coverage and the extra perks they provide. I also enjoyed the variety of their poker offerings and their vast library of online casino games.

Slight drawbacks include high banking fees and bonus deposit minimums and requirements that are tough on casual players. Even those slight issues were balanced out by great banking versatility.

It’s time to take a deep dive into SportsBetting.ag, beginning with a look at the pros and cons that I experienced while gambling there.

SportsBetting.ag Pros & Cons

PROS

  • Deep Selection of Promos in Every Department
  • Plenty of Sports Betting Contests
  • Odds Boosters Available Daily
  • A Strong Variety of Quality Casino Games

Cons

  • Tough Requirements on Welcome Bonuses for Casual Players
  • Non-Crypto Users Deal with High Fees
  • Difficult to Find Specific Games in the Casino

While I go into each of these pros and cons in-depth in the appropriate spots of my review, take a look at the basic facts surrounding these positives and negatives at SportsBetting.ag.

Like more all-in-one sites, SportsBetting.ag offers welcome bonuses for poker, casino, and sportsbook, as well as some basic reload offers. Beyond that, they feature many unique promos for each of these categories. No matter what your preference, you’ll have many opportunities to earn extra cash.

At any time of the year, you’re likely to find a betting contest available to you from SportsBetting.ag. These contests are free to enter and offer cash prizes to the best performers. You can find them for all four major US sports, as well as horse racing, golf, UFC, and more.

When you check the main sports betting menu at SportsBetting.ag, you’ll see the link to Odds Boosters. These give you the chance to get improved odds for key sporting events and games taking place that day. They have one of the widest selections of odds boosters for props on top sports like the NFL, MLB, and NBA.

In every category of casino games, SportsBetting.ag delivers you more options than your average online casino. It starts with over 600 slots, compared to around 300 to 400 in most US-based casinos, and continues through other departments such as video poker, table games, and blackjack.

Casual players might struggle with SportsBetting.ag's welcome bonuses. That’s because the minimum limits and rollover are both higher than average. You’ll have to decide if you’re going to play often enough to make them worth your while.

This isn’t that uncommon among online gambling sites, but Bitcoin and non-crypto users get a better shake at SportsBetting.ag. Those using checks or credit cards will have to pay extra fees to make deposits and withdrawals. Credit card deposits require a 9.75% fee, while checks will cost you as much as 3% of your withdrawal. While these fees for these methods aren’t out of the ordinary for gambling sites, they’ll still cut into your profit.

While it’s nice that you have many choices in the online casino, SportsBetting.ag doesn’t allow you to filter through them based on your preferences. That’s especially a problem in the slots section, with so many games at your disposal. At least, the site offers you the opportunity to search by each game’s name, which can help you find specific favorites in a hurry.

SportsBetting.ag Bonuses and Promotions

SportsBetting.ag offers promotions and bonuses in every gambling department. I evaluate them here, starting with the welcome bonuses for the sportsbook, the casino, and the poker section. Let’s start with the sportsbook.

SportsBetting.ag Sports Bonus

Criteria SportsBetting.ag Industry Average Industry Best
Match % 100% 100% 125% (BetUS)
Min Deposit $100 $25 $10 (BetNow)
Max Bonus $1,000 $1,000 $2,500 (BetUS)
Wagering Requirements 14x 10x 5x (Bovada)

SportsBetting.ag gives you their welcome bonus over your first two deposits, each one at 100% up to $500 (for a potential total of $1,000). While those figures come in at about the industry average, the site makes you pony up more than most to take advantage of the bonus. In addition, the 14x rollover is higher than most, and you have only 30 days to meet that rollover before the bonus expires.

Let’s see how SportsBetting.ag stacks up when it comes to their casino bonus for first-time players.

SportsBetting.ag Casino Bonus

Criteria SportsBetting.ag Industry Average Best
Match % 50% to 100% 200% 500% (DuckyLuck)
Min Deposit $25 $25 $10 (Las Atlantis and others)
Max Bonus $4,000 $2,500 $14,000 (Las Atlantis)
Wagering Requirements 45x 35x 25x (Bovada)

This welcome bonus is doled out as 100% for the first two deposits and 50% for the next two, all with max limits of $1,000. That adds up to a max limit of $4,000, which is a solid amount. Unfortunately, the percentage match is on the low side and the rollover is relatively high.

Keep in mind that baccarat, Sic Bo, roulette, craps, and live dealer games will not count towards the rollover. Only BetSoft slots and table games (not counting the excluded ones) will help you meet the rollover. And the rollover total jumps by 2.5x when you’re playing blackjack. You have to meet the rollover within 30 days or the bonus will expire.

Let’s round it out with a look at the poker welcome bonus:

SportsBetting.ag Poker Welcome Bonus

Criteria SportsBetting.ag Industry Average Industry Best
Match % 100% 100% 100% (SportsBetting.ag and others)
Min Deposit $50 $25 $20 (Bovada)
Max Bonus $1,000 $1,000 $1,000 (SportsBetting.ag and others)
Wagering Requirements 10% rakeback 25% rakeback 50% rakeback (Bovada)

You can get a nice head start on your poker play with up to $1,000 offered by SportsBetting.ag. The percentage match is also high, helping to offset a high minimum deposit. I wish the rakeback percentage you get was higher, though. Since it stands at 10%, it will take a bit more before you clear this bonus.

There are bonuses that SportsBetting.ag will offer you that might only be temporary. You’ll also find bonuses that are always available on the site. Take a look at the key ongoing promotions.

You’ll get 100% up to $1,000 to use in the sportsbook for your first deposit with cryptocurrency. The only difference between this promo and the standard sports bonus is that you can get the full $1,000 right off the bat with crypto, instead of over two deposits. The good news is that the minimum deposit for this promo is much lower, at $20, than with the standard sports welcome. The rollover still stands at 14x.

You’ll get 30% up to $300 when you reload your sports betting account at SportsBetting.ag. The rollover for this one is just 5x, although the minimum deposit is higher at $50. As with other bonuses from this site, you’ll have 30 days before expiry.

SportsBetting.ag offers tournaments every day for roulette, blackjack, and slots. You can enter each for free and buy your way back in for $5 a pop. Prize pools range from $5,000 to $20,000, which is a nice incentive considering you don’t have to pay anything to get involved.
There are also cash races, which you can opt into by playing one of the games chosen by the site for these events with your real money. The prize pools for these games ran from $750 to $1,500 when I checked.

You can get better odds for selected bets by checking out the Odds Boosters menu at SportsBetting.ag. Here’s one example I found: A prop involving four specific NBA teams to win on a given night went from +230 to +265. These boosts can make a big difference to your potential returns.

All you have to do is opt-in for to take part in the SportsBetting.ag leaderboards, which cover tournaments or cash games. There are weekly and daily leaderboards available. It’s a great way to get something extra if you’re a consistent player.

SportsBetting.ag Sportsbook

SportsBetting.ag delivers a sportsbook experience that’s right up there with the best betting sites, such as BetUS and Bovada. It starts with a wide range of sports (26 in total), with an excellent selection of markets, including props, futures, moneylines, and spreads for mainstream options like basketball, baseball, and football. The selection is solid for less popular events too.

When I checked, there were live bets available for everything from basketball and tennis to table tennis and volleyball. You can even hear audio from broadcasts of the live sports you’re betting.

In addition to the odds boosters, SportsBetting.ag also features a Same Game Parlays section so you can search through these wagers easily. The interface of the site is smart on the whole, as you can dive right into futures, props, or game props without having to search each individual event to find them.

One of the reasons the sportsbook is popular are the high odds, including -110/-110 for major events like NFL games and -115/-115 for other, less popular wagers. Add to all that the perks that I’m going to describe in the next section, and you can understand why I say that this is a sportsbook that I’d feel comfortable using for all my needs.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the perks and special features available at SportsBetting.ag:

Sportsbetting.ag offers a wide selection of predetermined props for you to try or you can build them yourself. This allows you total control over the players or teams involved and the parameters of the bet.
I played with the feature and created a head-to-head prop involving two quarterbacks in a Monday Night NFL game. That gives you an idea of a basic bet you can build, although you can get much more intricate than that if you wish. It’s a feature that sports bettors demand of their sites these days, and SportsBetting.ag delivers.

When I was reviewing SportsBetting.ag, contests like NFL Perfect Parlay, NBA Pick’em, UFC Fight Night Predictor, and more were available. The entry for most of these is free and you can win significant money if you’re among the top performers. The site is one of the best in the industry for sports contests with real prizes.

SportsBetting.ag offers a nice range of bets for those who love to speculate on politics. There are futures bets involving top political figures. Then there are bets tied to election results, both those that are in the near future and those that are still a bit down the road.
When I looked over the site, there were lines for the Presidential Election in Finland. The US is heavily covered, via everything from Congressional elections and specials on key figures like Joe Biden and Donald Trump. UK political experts can bet on who will be the next leader of each of the main parties.

Esports get their own section at SportsBetting.ag. That should make those who like to bet on those games feel good, since it shows the site considers them important. The range of markets is excellent for popular matches in CS2, Dota 2, LoL, VALORANT, and more esports.
In addition, you can wager on moneylines and spreads on sports-based games like NBA2K and FIFA. Live streaming is available for anything you bet, and you can also try futures betting on top events.
SportsBetting.ag is also one of the few sites I’ve reviewed that features an Esports-specific bonus. The Parlay Power Up gives you a boost when you hit a parlay of Esports bets. The more selections you include in the bet, the higher the percentage of the boost. For example, a 5-selection bet (the minimum for the promotion) gives you 5%, while hitting a 12-selection parlay yields a 60% boost.
When you also factor in the betting contests for CS2 and popular MOBAs like Dota 2 and LoL, you can see why Esports bettors will like what they find here.

There’s a sense of fun that pervades this section of SportsBetting.ag. While you can make bets on big media awards shows like the Oscars or Grammys, you can also try your hand at some unique wagers tied to the entertainment world. For example, there are wagers tied to who will be the next lover for certain single celebrities.
As a pop culture nut myself, I had a blast checking out the selection, especially the bets about major TV shows like The Crown or the ones concerning reality TV competitions. Entertainment bettors will enjoy this section, and hopefully make a little money.

SportsBetting.ag Casino

  • Number of Casino Games: 700+
  • Software Developers: Betsoft, Rival, Nucleus, DGS
  • Live Dealer Games: Yes
  • Demo Mode: No

SportsBetting.ag does a great job with the variety of games in the casino In every major category, it has more than the standard number of games offered by other online casinos. That gives you more selection and more of an opportunity to explore entertaining new games.

That variety extends to the live dealer casino, where you can find rare selections like T-Basket and Speedy 7. One problem is looking through all the games to find one you like. There’s no filter feature on the site, which makes it hard to quickly locate certain categories, such as jackpot games or bonus buys.

There’s also no way to play the games in demo mode, which you can find at most other sites. Still, the online casino of SportsBetting.ag impressed me during my review, thanks in part to perks like the Weekly Featured Game and Turbo Tuesday.

Let’s take a look now at the specific categories of games to see what they offer.

With just shy of 600 slots, SportsBetting.ag comes through with a selection that’s much more extensive than many other online casinos, which often top out at 300 or 400. There are separate sections for new or popular games (most of which are slots). Other than that, you can search by the name of the game, or just go scrolling through the long list to find ones that you like.
Games range from a few cents to several hundred dollars per spin, and they come from top providers such as BetSoft and DGS. I checked out a Bonus Buy game called Back to the 60’s and found it to be a satisfying experience (although, sadly, not a profitable one for me). SportsBetting.ag is a solid site for slots lovers.

SportsBetting.ag comes through with an impressive range of table games (around 60 in total). The selection includes 22 blackjack games, which actually have their own section if you want to access them quickly. On top of that, you’ll find 14 roulette variations, 4 baccarat options, 9 against-the-house poker games, and 6 other games (like craps and Red Dog).
I enjoyed playing the BetSoft game 21 Burn blackjack, which featured betting limits from $1 to $1,000. In addition, I made my way through the other table game categories to check them out, and they were all entertaining (and all featured similar betting limits of $1 to $1,000.)

I always rush right to the video poker section of any casino I try, because it’s probably my favorite game. SportsBetting.ag made me very happy when I saw 18 different variants in the mix. That included 11 single-hand variations and 13 multi-hand selections.
Most games were familiar to me, although Triple Card Gamble, which was an interesting twist on Joker Poker, stood out as something different. Most games came in at limits of a nickel to $50 per round, although there were also a few at $1 to $100. I played one of those games (Aces & Faces) and enjoyed the action, even if I came short of breaking even.

Most of the games (16 out of 23) in this section at SportsBetting.ag are digital scratch cards. Although you might think all the scratch card games are alike, each one tends to feature something a little different, whether it’s a different jackpot level (up to $300,000), free spins, or other bonuses.
There are 5 “other” specialty games, with everything from video game-style diversions like Space Invasion to Casino Solitaire. You can also play two different versions of keno for good measure. Fans of specialty games will be pleased with what SportsBetting.ag has to offer.

I was pleased to see the wide range of wagering limits available on blackjack, baccarat, and roulette in the SportsBetting.ag live dealer section. For example, there was a blackjack game available for bets from $5 to $100. There was also one for high-stakes players where bets ranged from $100 to $20,000.
For baccarat, there were bets as low as $1 and as high as $5,000, while roulette offered bets from 50 cents to $12,500. You can also choose from 4 lottery games and 16 other live dealer games, including titles like Dice Duel, Bet On Poker, and T-Basket. With the variety of reliable live dealer options here (most from Visionary iGaming), you should be able to find a favorite at SportsBetting.ag.

SportsBetting.ag Poker

SportsBetting.ag offers you the chance to play poker on the Chico Network, which is attached to a few other sites. This ensures you nice traffic, with a minimum of around 500 players within the network at all times (and much more on busy times like on weeknight evenings). You can choose between many varieties of tournaments and cash games (more details on those below).

As you might expect, SportsBetting.ag delivers a heavy dose of Texas Hold’em action, but you can also try your hand at Omaha and somewhat unique variants like Six-Plus and Open Face Chinese Pineapple. Limits were wide-ranging as well. When I checked on a weekday afternoon for this article, not exactly prime poker time, I saw an impressive range of tournaments with buy-ins as low as $1.10 and overall prize pools as high as $25,000. Some of these were satellites for even bigger events.

I was also impressed with the special features that SportsBetting.ag delivers in their poker section. There’s the Poker Straddle, a feature available in cash games which lets you goose the pot with a bet that’s twice the big blind. In addition, there’s the All-In Cash-Out, which is a kind of insurance policy in cash games that allows you to take your equity in an all-in situation instead of relying on luck.

Add that all up, and you can see how SportsBetting.ag has become a popular online poker option. Let’s take a deeper look at the most common ways that you can play poker at the site.

Tournaments

It’s impressive how many different ways you can get involved in tournaments at SportsBetting.ag. That variety goes beyond the betting and blind limits. You can also find the following specific tournament types at the site:

  • Satellites: These events not only offer a cash purse but also give the best performers a chance at entering an even bigger event.
  • Bounties: You can play traditional bounty tournaments, which offer a cash prize for each player you knock out. There are also Mystery Bounty tournaments at SportsBetting.ag, where you won’t know how much you’ll get for each knockout. In Progressive Bounties, the prizes accumulate with each player you oust.
  • Windfalls: In these events, there are random multipliers attached to your buy-in, which give you the chance to play for a much bigger pool than the size of your buy-in might suggest.
  • Money Builders: These are events with unlimited rebuy opportunities and extended late registration periods.
  • Sunday Majors: These events have the largest weekly prize pools attached to them.

You should be able to find a style of play and an entry point regardless of your level of play or your budget, which is why I think tournament aficionados will enjoy their time at SportsBetting.ag.

Sit and Go

A sit and go tournament is a standard at most poker sites. SportsBetting.ag spices up the action with their windfall feature, also known as Jackpot SNG. This adds a multiplier to these small tournaments that can boost the payback for those won come out on top. Buy-ins for these windfalls range from $3 to $30.

It’s easy to get started in SnGs of any kind at SportsBetting.ag, even those without windfalls. You just choose your preferred buy-in, the number of competitors you want to play (anywhere from 2 to 18), and your preferred poker game (Hold’em and Omaha are available.)

Once the event fills up, you’ll be ready to play. These are extremely popular because of how you can customize the particulars, and SportsBetting.ag makes them nice and easy to access.

Cash Games

SportsBetting.ag allows you to take part in cash games, with six-handed or nine-handed tables the most common. The limits go for as low as a penny per small blind to as high as $5. No limit, fixed limit, and pot limit events are available. Hold’em and Omaha (High and Hi-Lo) are the two main games covered.

The interface to find the game you want is easy to handle, so that you’ll end up in just the game that you want. Stakes aren’t that high in SportsBetting.ag cash games, which might be an issue if you’re someone who wants to hit it big. Beyond that, the cash game action is solid at SportsBetting.ag.

SportsBetting.ag App

SportsBetting.ag offers all gambling products on mobile. I tested them all, and here’s what I found.

SportsBetting.ag Betting App

The SportsBetting.ag app for wagering on sports is actually just a mobile version of the main site. You just have to access the page via your device’s browser. That will bring up a version of the site that’s made for the smaller screen.

From there, you can navigate through all the sports betting site’s features via the touch screen. That includes the live betting section. SportsBetting.ag makes mobile sports betting easy.

SportsBetting.ag Casino App

You don’t need to download anything to play all the online casino games from SportsBetting.ag on your phone or other connected device. The good news is that the titles you can play on the main site will all show up in the mobile version, including the live dealer casino.

Navigation is easy, and the games look sharp on the small screen because SportsBetting.ag relies on solid software providers. Playing on the online casino at SportsBetting.ag from your phone is hassle-free.

SportsBetting.ag Poker App

You can get started playing poker at SportsBetting.ag via your mobile device immediately. If you have an account already, simply bring the site up in your browser and sign in. In a matter of moments, you’ll have all the poker features at your fingertips.

SportsBetting.ag has set up the interface in such a way that it’s easy to get where you need in the poker section, even from a phone. They’re constantly updating to improve the player experience, even going so far as to list the updates in their “Poker Release” section.

Overall, the mobile set up at SportsBetting.ag for poker is intuitive and simple to use, even for new players. You can enjoy up to 4 tables simultaneously on mobile which is more than enough.

SportsBetting.ag Payments

SportsBetting.ag lets you choose from many different methods for deposits and withdrawals. Here are the particulars:

The SportsBetting.ag banking system features some good things, as well as some flaws which might frustrate you a bit. Fees are the main issue. You have to deal with them for non-crypto methods, which is common at gambling sites. That includes a 9.75% fee on credit card deposits, minimum $45 on wire transfer and $50 for checks. (Maximums for those last two methods are 3% of the amount withdrawn).

SportsBetting.ag also reserves the right to charge you for crypto transactions, which isn’t the case for other sites like it (such as Bovada or BetUS). The good news is that they rarely exercise that right. Even if those are slight drawbacks, they make up for those issues in other ways. That includes the fact that they have many more crypto banking options (16 total) than their competitors.

In addition, they’re quick in processing payments. Payouts are often settled within an hour or two after you make the request Quick withdrawals mean so much in the online gambling world, which is why SportsBetting.ag ultimately gets a positive grade from me for their banking.

Is SportsBetting.ag Legit?

I can attest that SportsBetting.ag is a legitimate gambling site: they have a license to operate and have taken many other steps to protect their players, including proper encryptions, third-party dispute resolutions, and external testing. Here’s a quick rundown:

Gambling License TSL Additional Testing Other Security Measures
Panama TLS 1.3, X25519, and AES_128_GCM GLI testing of RNG casino games Responsible Gambling practices, Third-Party dispute resolution

I love the fact that SportsBetting.ag has gone the extra step of contacting a third party (Gambling Laboratories International) to test out its RNG games. They also send disputes to a third party if it can’t be settled between the player and customer service. These steps are the signs of a responsible organization.

On top of that, the site has a license from Panama gaming authorities, which adds to the comfort level of playing there. I like that they offer responsible gambling information, as well as steps you can take if you are having issues in that department. Safety and legitimacy are definitely a part of the SportsBetting.ag experience.

SportsBetting.ag Customer Service

I made sure to also test the customer service at SportsBetting.ag, since I know how important that can be. I contacted them via all the methods provided to customers, and here’s what I asked:

  • What happens if you request a payout before clearing a bonus?
  • Can you deposit with one payment option and withdraw with another?
  • Can you request a sports bet that’s not listed on the site?

Here are the details about the response:

Channel Response Time Helpfulness Availability Languages
Chat 2 mins 4/5 24/7 English
Email 18 hours 4/5 24/7 English
Phone Immediate 5/5 24/7 English

First, I like the fact that SportsBetting.ag offered a phone option for customer service. As great as live chat is, it’s a lot easier to communicate with someone when you can immediately clarify your points and/or questions. The rep I talked to was friendly and got right to the heart of my questions.

The live chat time was quick, and the agent took the time to answer each question thoroughly. So did the e-mail rep, although it predictably took a while before I received that answer. I was very happy with how customer service responded to me, which gave me a lot of confidence in SportsBetting.ag.

The verification process at SportsBetting.ag takes place when you look to withdraw for the first time. You won’t be able to get your money unless you provide them with the following information.

  1. A digital photo copy of your valid ID, such as a passport or a driver’s license.
  2. Proof of address. For example, a photo of a recent utility bill, with the date and the address is visible, would work.

Sportsbetting.ag requires you to do this as part of their KYC (Know Your Customer) protocols, which actually is a good thing, since it shows they’re responsible for preventing money-laundering and other schemes. You shouldn’t have any problems with this process, and once you’ve done it once, you won’t have to do it again.

Final Verdict – Is SportsBetting.ag Good?

I can recommend SportsBetting.ag as one of the best all-in-one gambling websites available to Americans. The sportsbook is top-notch, with excellent features like odds boosters and bet builders, while the casino is filled with a wide variety of high-quality games. The range of poker formats means that there’s something for every player, and the average payback speed is excellent.

There are a few drawbacks, mostly in terms of the requirements of the welcome bonuses being tough for casual players to complete. That’s more than offset by the sheer number of bonuses available to you and the quality of the services. All in all, I found enough in my SportsBetting.ag review to convince me that they’re an excellent option.
