So, you’ve heard about Metal Casino and want to know more, huh? Well, that’s what I’m here for. I pretty much check out every casino on the web and bring you the need-to-know information on it.

If you’re a regular reader, you probably don’t need to be told how these reviews go. I aim to keep them honest, no-frills, and to the point. Where casinos do good, they get praise. Where they fail to live up to expectations, they get called out.

I’ll place every element of Metal Casino under the microscope before this review is finished. I’ll start with some general information about the user experience, then look at the games available, followed by the bonuses and promos, before finishing up with some information on the payment methods and customer service options.

I always like to give an initial snapshot impression, and I will give Metal Casino a huge thumbs up for design. This website knocks it out of the ballpark when it comes to attractiveness, and a quick visit will show you this isn’t an exaggeration.

I look forward to finding out if the actual casino itself lives up to the slick design. Usually, a big effort on the design front is a good sign, but I guess we’ll find out as we go along.

So, let’s get into it and find out if Metal Casino is worth playing at.

About Metal Casino

Metal Casino is a brand-new addition to the online casino scene, having just come online at the end of 2017. It’s operated by MT SecureTrade Ltd, an extremely experienced operator with lots of well-known casino brands like Rizk, GUTS, and Dunder under its management.

I already mentioned the website’s stunning design in the introduction, and I wasn’t kidding. It’s got a “rock” theme, and a huge effort has been made to create a fantastic-looking site. It’s got a black, red, and gold color scheme, which just works nicely to create the desired image. In fact, even if you don’t end up playing here, I’d recommend popping over to check out the design, just to see it.

Having played at several other casinos run by MT SecureTrade before, I already knew the games selection would be superior. A quick click on the “games” tab in the left-hand menu confirmed that. I like that games have been categorized in a unique way with sections labeled “killer games,” “high voltage,” and “metal gods.” You can also simply search for the game you like.

In terms of bonuses and promotions, there’s a welcome bonus for new players and a range of ongoing promotions with a rock theme. I could also see an ongoing VIP program, which I was definitely looking forward to discovering more about.

Who Can Play at Metal Casino?

If you live in these countries you won’t be able to play at Metal Casino.

  • USA
  • Belgium
  • Bulgaria
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Estonia
  • France
  • Greenland
  • Hong Kong
  • Israel
  • Italy
  • The Philippines
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Spain
  • South Africa
  • Turkey

Needless to say, if gambling is illegal in your country, you won’t be able to sign up, either.

Software Suppliers

The games are provided by NetEnt, Microgaming, NYX, Quickspin, and Play’n GO. I’ve played games from these companies hundreds of times, so I know quality isn’t going to be a problem. They are all well respected within the online casino gaming sector.

The live games are provided by Evolution Gaming and are second to none.

The Good Stuff

Insanely Great Design and User Experience

Green Thumbs Up

Whether you are using a desktop or mobile device, Metal Casino is one of the best casinos I have ever played at in terms of design. I may be slightly biased because I like rock, but it’s super cool. The ongoing incentives for regular players and the overall usability of the site are cracking.

The web designers have really gone to a lot of effort to make this site look legit. For example, there are rotating black and white photos of skulls beside piles of poker chips, and electric guitars with gold bars and playing cards scattered about. There’s even a black and white photo of Ozzy Osbourne screaming.

As far as the menus go, it’s all as simple and minimalist as possible. There are the main categories on the left-hand sidebar, and once you click a category, you will see various other menu tabs along the top of the screen, guiding you to where you want to go.

High-Quality Games

All the games are from world-class software providers with long, established histories. Most types of game are offered, so this could be a casino for any kind of player.

I always like to see names like NetEnt, Microgaming, and NextGen providing slots, as is the case here. These names mean quality and fairness is guaranteed.

As for the live casino, they don’t come any better than Evolution Gaming. This is a relatively new firm based out of Europe, and it has quickly skyrocketed to the top of the live games sector. The dealers go the extra mile to interact and socialize while keeping the games running smoothly.

Social Good Is a Priority

This may or may not matter to you, but it does to me. Metal Casino proudly promotes its MC Foundation, to which it donates a portion of its profits.

These guys back the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, who are out there taking care of our oceans. They also support up-and-coming rock bands by connecting them with advisors and helping them get booked.

It’s nice to know some of what you bet at the casino is going to make a positive difference in the world. That makes it a little easier to take if you go on a losing streak and have to walk away down money.

There’s Endless Incentive for Regular Players

All too often, casinos are keen to get you in the door, but then they forget about you. This one takes a different approach by making sure loyal player are rewarded with Met Coins and spins of the various bonus wheels on a regular basis.

Met Coins are accumulated constantly, but Metal Casino goes a step further and gives you the chance to earn double Met Coins each evening. This shows me they really are pushing the idea, and you’ll be able to trade these in for extra bonuses, free spins, cash, or a selection of cool merchandise.

Hats, Zippo lighters, hoodies, vests, concert tickets, and even exclusive merchandise like guitars signed by bona fide rock legends are available.

The Bad Stuff

There’s No Sportsbook

Red Thumbs Down

I personally like a casino and sportsbook all in one so I can bet on the footy each weekend. Metal Casino doesn’t offer sports betting, though.

While the casino experience is excellent, a little live betting really adds extra adrenaline to the overall gambling experience. If you’ve been playing as long as I have, those extra shots of excitement count.

The Games Selection Isn’t Massive

Don’t get me wrong; there are more than enough games to keep the average player entertained. However, if you’re a hardcore player, you might burn through them all reasonably quickly.

I’ve played at casinos with over 1,000 slots games alone, whereas the entire range of games at Metal Casino isn’t even 1,000. It really does depend on how often you play and how ‘hardcore’ you are, so to speak.

For me, this range of games is enough, but then, I only play once or twice a week. If you’re playing every day, you might grow bored.

Game Selection

There’s a decent number of games at Metal Casino, although it’s by no means the largest selection I have ever encountered online. Slots, digital table and card games, and video poker are all available.

Let’s now take a close look at the exact games available in each category.

Poker

Metal Casino doesn’t offer poker tournaments as such, but there are a couple of casino poker variants. These include:

  • Pai Gow
  • Red Dog

Play’n GO provides the Pai Gow game, whereas NetEnt provides the Red Dog game. Both can be played in demo mode and load within seconds. Note that you’ll need to enable flash player before you can play them.

Video Poker

While not the biggest I’ve ever seen, the video poker selection is acceptable. Titles include:

  • Deuces Wild
  • Joker Poker
  • DD Bonus Power Poker
  • Tens or Better
  • Jacks or Better

This is a pretty limited selection compared to what I’ve seen at some other online casinos. Still, it should be enough to satisfy casual players like me.

Table Games

As far as digital table games go, there are some blackjack and roulette variants from Microgaming, NetEnt, and Play’n GO. Games include:

  • American Roulette
  • European Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • Multi-Wheel Roulette
  • Super Wheel Roulette
  • Monopoly Tycoon Roulette
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Gold Series Blackjack

Again, most of these games can be enjoyed in demo mode if you want to try out some strategies or get a feel for how one of the variants works.

There are no extra features such as the ability to see recent winners or save games. That’s a minor point, though, as the overall quality of the games is top-notch.

Slots

There’s a pretty decent selection of video slots at Metal Casino. Some of the most popular games ever released can be found alongside some classic slots. A handful of progressive jackpot slots gives you the opportunity to win life-changing money.

I recommend having a few spins on the following games:

  • Book of the Dead
  • Agent Jane Blonde
  • Super Heroes
  • Gonzo’s Quest
  • Dead or Alive
  • Jack Hammer
  • Mega Fortune
  • Thunderstruck II
  • Spinata Grande
  • Immortal Romance
  • Spinions Beach Party
  • Medusa II
  • Cosmic Fortune
  • Hall of Gods
  • Starburst
  • Koi Princess
  • Motorhead
  • Poltava
  • Mega Moolah
  • Divine Fortune
  • Girls with Guns II
  • Lost Vegas
  • 7 Sins
  • Hellboy

There are many more slots available at Metal Casino. I’ve just listed these above, as I feel they are the best slots on the site.

Due to the way the games are categorized at this casino, you won’t find all the slots in one section of the site. Flick around through the various tabs and see what’s on offer. Alternatively, just use the search bar to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Live Casino

The live dealer games are provided by both NetEnt and Evolution Gaming. They include:

  • Baccarat
  • Blackjack
  • Casino Hold ‘Em
  • Dream Catcher
  • Roulette

The quality of the live games is fantastic, as I’d expect from these two providers. I was able to jump around and play a couple of different versions of roulette, and the dealers were happy to interact and communicate, which made the experience more fun for a sociable guy like me.

Promotions

There aren’t dozens of promotions covering every day of the week at this casino, but instead there’s a welcome bonus and then a couple of ongoing, rewarding bonuses for regular players.

This makes it appear that there isn’t much on offer at Metal Casino, but once you read about the “Golden Wheel” bonus, you’ll see that’s definitely not the case.

Welcome Bonus

In keeping with the rock image of this casino, new players are asked “Why don’t you f***ing join me?” by legendary rock star Ozzy Osbourne.

If you do decide to do so, you’ll be rewarded for your first two deposits. What you get depends on how much you deposit each time.

On your first deposit, you can claim the following:

  • 100% up to €100 + 5 spins of the Super Wheel for deposits between €10-€49
  • 100% up to €100 + 5 spins of the Mega Wheel for deposits between €50-€99
  • 100% up to €100 + 5 spins of the Epic Wheel for deposits over €100

On your second deposit you can claim:

  • 50% up to €100 + 666 Met Coins for deposits between €10 and €49
  • 50% up to €100 + 1,400 Met Coins for deposits between €50 and €99
  • 50% up to €100 + 3,000 Met Coins for deposits of €100 or more

Met Coins are basically the same as loyalty points. They can be traded in for bonuses and merchandise once you accumulate enough of them.

The bonus wheels offer various free spins offers, and each has a jackpot. I really like that there are no wagering requirements if you manage to win the jackpots on any wheel.

In any case, the minimum deposit is €10 and the wagering requirements are 25x on the deposit and bonus cash.

The Golden Wheel

As you might have picked up from the welcome bonus information, Metal Casino has various bonus wheels. The highest-value wheel is the Golden Wheel.

There’s an ongoing rewards program at this casino in which you “level up” when you reach a certain threshold of play. Each time you level up, you’ll get to spin the Golden Wheel.

Each time you spin, you’ll have the chance to win free spins or the jackpot. A win of some sort is guaranteed.

While the jackpot is free from wagering requirements, any free spins you win will be subject to 35x wagering terms.

This is a pretty epic way to keep rewarding loyal players. I like it a lot.

Evening Mosh Pit

Part of the overall theme of Metal Casino is that you will have your very own “world tour” to complete. At each stage, you’ll be given tasks such as to complete a certain number of winning spins on a specific set of slots.

Each time you complete a “tour,” you will be given a certain number of Met Coins. Each evening, between 22:00-00:00 CET, you will be given the chance to earn double the Met Coins for completing the same tour.

This is a sort of 2-for-1 deal, allowing you to earn the Met Coins needed to get extra bonuses and spins of the bonus wheels faster. It’s a nice touch if you are the type to play at night.

Banking

There are a fair number of ways to deposit at Metal Casino, but only one way to get your money back out.

There are no hidden or extra fees related to either depositing or withdrawing at this site. Do check with your card provider or bank, though, as some of them do add fees for casino-related payments.

Withdrawal time takes between 3-5 business days when using a bank transfer. You will need to have wagered whatever you have deposited at least once, or Metal Casino reserves the right to deny your withdrawal request.

Deposit Methods

  • Credit card
  • Debit card
  • Neteller
  • Skrill
  • Paysafecard

Withdrawal Methods

  • Bank transfer

I don’t like the fact there is only one withdrawal method. It’s the sort of behavior that makes it inconvenient, although definitely not impossible, to get your cash back out.

VIP Program

While there isn’t a specific “VIP” program with levels like you might be used to, loyal and regular play is rewarded. You will complete your “world tour” faster, and so will be rewarded with spins of the bonus wheels and extra Met Coins.

This doesn’t exactly fit the bill of a VIP program in the traditional sense, but it is definitely a loyalty program, so I thought it worth mentioning here.

Customer Service

You’ll be able to reach the customer support team via live chat and email.

  • Email Send a message to [email protected] for general questions and inquiries. It took about 4 hours for a response when I contacted them, but you have to allow for the fact that was a weekend evening, so it was probably busy.
  • Live Chat This is the best way to get in touch and is always available. You’ll be asked to enter your email address and name before starting the chat. It then takes about 20-30 seconds to get connected. Operators are friendly and happy to help. You can chat in English, Norsk, or Swedish.

The addition of a toll-free telephone hotline would help take the customer service here to a new level. It’s not entirely necessary, but I’m aware that there are plenty of old-timers who still prefer to pick up the phone rather than write emails or use live chat.

Would I Play at Metal Casino?

For me personally, Metal Casino is unmissable. This is one of those sites you could stumble into just to see what’s up and end up playing at for years to come.

While it doesn’t have the biggest selection of games I have ever seen, all the options are pure quality. The overall user experience is also fantastic, especially if you’re a bit of a rocker yourself.

There’s very little I can say about this casino that’s negative. It’s doing everything right, and I definitely recommend at least checking it out for yourself.
