Welcome to my Big Dollar Casino review. I’m glad you stopped by.

Like all the other reviews on this site, this one is going to be a little different than the reviews you might be used to reading elsewhere. While those would better be classified as ads in disguise, I aim to keep it real and give you the full picture of what’s going right, and what needs work, at the casinos I review.

Big Dollar won’t slip anything by me, and if there’s something to be concerned about, I’ll let you know in this review. Don’t believe me? Keep reading, and you’ll see.

So, is Big Dollar Casino worth playing at, or is it likely to strip you of your cash and leave you weeping uncontrollably in a ball on the floor?

Let’s find out!

About Big Dollar Casino

Big Dollar Casino has a long, established history as a popular online casino. It first came online in 2002 and has built a solid reputation for itself.

This is a pure casino, meaning it isn’t somewhere poker players or sports bettors will find a home. It’s all about spinning the reels, turning over cards, and playing video poker.

This casino is powered by BetOnSoft which means you’ll have access to a range of high-quality games if you play here. It won’t be the biggest selection you’ve ever seen, but quality is more important than quantity when it comes to casino games.

Big Dollar Casino holds a valid gaming license in the jurisdiction of Curacao. That’s a tiny little Caribbean nation which happens to be home to thousands of online casinos.

I’ll now look at all of the important factors determining the scores I gave in each category above.

Who Can Play at Big Dollar Casino?

Players from the following countries won’t be able to play at Big Dollar Casino:

  • Finland
  • France
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Japan
  • Mexico
  • Netherlands
  • Poland

This is a full list of the restricted territories. Everybody else is welcome, including US players.

The Good Stuff

Huge Bonus Offers

Big Dollar offers more bonus cash every single day than some casinos offer, period. There are hundreds of dollars up for grabs every day of the week, and even if you’re a high-roller who makes larger-than-average deposits, you’ll be well rewarded here.

The bonuses do come with higher-than-average wagering requirements, but hey, the casino has to offset its risk some way.

Superior Customer Support

It’s nice to feel valued as a player. Too many casinos offer slow customer support from agents who are less than attentive.

Big Dollar Casino has nailed customer service. There are three ways to get in touch around the clock, including by telephone hotline.

I wish more casinos took care of their players this way. The online casino scene would be a better place if they did.

Accepts Bitcoin

I’m all about moving with the times, and cryptocurrencies are no exception. I’m well and truly aboard the Bitcoin train, and it has become my preferred deposit and withdrawal method at online casinos over the past year or so.

I’m glad to see that Big Dollar Casino accepts Bitcoin. It shows this is a forward-thinking site and wants to make it as easy as possible for players to move money in and out.

The Bad Stuff

No Australian or UK Players

Aussies are starting to feel the consequences of legislation passed to clamp down on online gambling. This is another example of that.

UK players, on the other hand, rarely find themselves locked out of online casinos. Due to legal reasons, Brits won’t be able to play at Big Dollar Casino.

No Sports Betting

I’m the type who likes to watch my bets come in when I’m playing casino games. That could indicate that I need to take a break from gambling, but there ya’ go!

Unfortunately, sports betting is not available at Big Dollar Casino.

Game Selection

Big Dollar Game Selection

What is a casino without its games? Not much! A wide variety of games is important but equally important is the quality of the games themselves. I’ll be looking at both in this section.

I’ll say up front that slots players and video poker players will be best pleased with the games on offer here. When it comes to the other games, the offering is basic, at best.

Let’s take a closer look section by section.

Poker

This site isn’t going to win a poker casino of the decade award. There’s a single game variant offered:

  • Three Card Poker

You won’t be able to play against other players or live dealers. This single game is it as far as poker goes at Big Dollar. It’s a good quality game, but more needs to be offered here.

Feel free to check this game out in demo mode if you do decide to play it.

Video Poker

Can I tell you a secret you might not know? There are some video poker variants which, if played with perfect video poker strategy, can pay out more than 100% over a long enough time frame.

What does that mean for you? It means you can beat the house! Casinos like to keep this under wraps. That’s also the reason why video poker games are often restricted or count very little towards meeting wagering requirements when it comes to bonuses. Mastering video poker is worthwhile if you want to make money, albeit small percentages, by playing casino games online.

The video poker selection at Big Dollar is reasonably impressive. Games include:

  • Aces and Faces
  • Deuces Wild Bonus Poker
  • Bonus Poker
  • Bonus Poker Deluxe
  • Deuces and Joker
  • Deuces Wild Poker
  • Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Bonus Poker
  • Triple Bonus Poker
  • Jacks or Better
  • Joker Poker
  • Rocket Jacks Poker

There are 10-play and 50-play versions of most of these games available. I also really like that it’s possible to play them in demo mode. This shows the casino’s confidence in the quality of the games.

You can play from as little as £1 per hand to as much as £50 if you’re a high roller.

The games are all high quality. This is to be expected from Saucify, which is powering some of the top online casinos right now.

Table Games

Every casino has its strengths and weaknesses, and this is one of Big Dollar’s weak spots. There are only a handful of digital table and card games on offer.

The important thing, I suppose, is that the “big three” games are all included. You’ll be able to play the following:

  • Classic Blackjack
  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • European Blackjack
  • Vegas Strip Blackjack
  • Punto Banco (Baccarat)
  • European Roulette

As with the other games, you’ll be able to play these in demo mode. I urge you to check them out for yourself, but I can also assure you that the games are all seamless, and the graphics are as good as any I have encountered.

You can play from just £0.20 to as much as £100 per spin of the roulette wheel. Be sure to set regular reality checks to make sure you don’t overspend or get carried away if you’re betting anywhere near the upper limits.

This selection will do the job for most casual players, but it could be better. Those who like exotic variants will likely be underwhelmed.

Slots

An online casino without video slots would be like a restaurant without beverages. It wouldn’t last long!

Slots are the main attraction at most casinos, and they are at Big Dollar, too. There’s a decent range of both modern video slots and classic ones. This isn’t as big a selection as you might be used to seeing at some online casinos, but it will be enough for most casual players.

I recommend checking out the following games:

  • Age of Spartans
  • Aladdin’s Loot
  • Bucksy Malone
  • Alpha Squad
  • Elemental 7
  • Gems n’ Jewels
  • Code 211
  • Double Trouble
  • Max Cash
  • Buckin’ Broncos
  • Football Fever
  • Legends of Olympia
  • Road Trip Route 66
  • Stones and Bones
  • Reef Encounter
  • Pina Nevada
  • Dream Wheel
  • Cosmopolitan
  • Dollars Down Under
  • Tails of New York
  • Small Soldiers
  • Realms
  • Wild Wizards
  • Tanzakura

If you haven’t heard of some of these, don’t panic. Saucify/BetOnSoft is a growing presence in the online casino industry and is 100% above board.

As is the case with the other games, you can check the games out for yourself in demo mode. That’s a great thing when it comes to brands like this which some players might feel unsure about committing to without trying.

Live Casino

There are no live dealer games at Big Dollar Casino. You’ll have to make do with the digital table and card games listed above.

Other Games

Sometimes it’s nice to hit snooze in the brain and just have a little mindless fun, isn’t it? That’s exactly what the “other games” section is about at most online casinos. Big Dollar casino offers you a few options, including:

  • Berry Picker
  • Keno
  • Captain Keno
  • Power Keno
  • Super Keno
  • Lucky Scratch

Once again, feel free to check these out in demo mode and then play for real money later, if you would prefer that.

Promotions

Most casinos do a great job of getting you in the door, but far too many of them forget about you once they have reeled you in with the dazzling bonus offer.

That’s not the case at Big Dollar Casino. While you will notice the wagering requirements are higher than average on most of the bonuses, you will also notice that the amounts offered are much higher. Fair is fair, some would say.

I’ll let you be the judge of that. I’m just here to provide you with the details!

Welcome Bonuses

All new players at Big Dollar Casino are entitled to two welcome bonuses. You can claim:

  • A no deposit bonus worth $25. You’ll need the bonus code SPINME25. The wagering requirements are 45x.
  • A first deposit bonus of 200% up to $200. You’ll need the bonus code WELCOME200. The wagering requirements on this bonus are 60x.

These wagering requirements are a little higher than I ideally like to see, which makes it slim to none that you’re going to be able to withdraw the bonus. That said, free play is free play. The bonuses are still worth taking in my view.

Daily Bonuses

Big Dollar Casino lives up to its name by providing sizable bonuses every day of the week. Some of these are as big as the welcome bonuses found at other casinos.

  • On Mondays, you can claim 75% up to $500 using the bonus code BIGMONDAY
  • On Tuesdays, you can claim 75% up to $500 using the bonus code BIGTUESDAY
  • On Wednesdays, you’ll be able to claim 80% up to $500 using the bonus code BIGWEDNESDAY
  • On Thursdays, you can claim 100% up to $500 using the bonus code BIGTHURSDAY
  • On Fridays, you can claim 100% up to $500 using the bonus code BIGFRIDAY

The bonuses continue over the weekend, too.

  • On Saturdays, you can claim 125% up to $250 using the bonus code BIGSATURDAY
  • On Sundays, you can claim 75% up to $500 using the bonus code BIGSUNDAY

The bonuses worth up to 100% will come with 40x wagering requirements. The bonuses worth more than 100% come with 60x wagering requirements.

Monthly Promotions

Big Dollar Casino is always running some sort of monthly promotion. Obviously, these change with each new month.

An example would be the March Madness offer currently running. This allows you to claim 100% up to $1,000 + 50 free spins on Lucky Leprechauns.

Each of these offers will have its own terms and conditions and bonus codes. Check the promotions page for the latest details.

Banking

Everything else at a casino can be perfect, but if it all goes wrong in the banking department, there’s no point in playing.

Thankfully, that’s not the case at Big Dollar Casino. Everything is standard here, with nothing either amazing or terrible to report.

I will say that it’s nice to see a roughly equal number of ways to get your money back out as there are to deposit. Far too many casinos are keen to get their hands on your money and then make you jump through hoops to get it back.

There are some fees associated with bank transfers. These can cost up to $30 per pop, depending on your bank and location. This is all spelled out clearly in the terms and conditions if you care to dig deeper.

Bank transfers can take up to 10 business days, so it’s best to avoid those if possible. Withdrawals by web wallet can take 48 hours tops.

Deposit Methods

  • Credit Cards
  • Debit Cards
  • Neteller
  • Paysafecard
  • Giropay
  • Skrill
  • Ukash
  • Bank Transfer
  • Bitcoin

Withdrawal Methods

  • Credit Cards
  • Debit Cards
  • Neteller
  • Skrill
  • Bank Transfer
  • Bitcoin

VIP Program

There’s no specific, structured VIP program at Big Dollar Casino, but each game you play will earn you a certain number of loyalty points. These points can then be traded in for extra bonus cash when you accumulate enough of them.

Customer Service

Big Dollar Customer Service

Email – If you aren’t in a hurry, you can drop a line to [email protected] – this is a fine way to get in touch with general questions, but it won’t do for emergencies. Replies can take between 6-12 hours on average.

Live Chat – I got connected with a live chat operator named Jenny within roughly 20 seconds. She was cooperative and happy to answer my questions. I would say the replies could be a little faster, but the important thing is that I got what I needed and felt appreciated as a customer.

Telephone – You can call 1888 777 0203 (toll-free) at any time of the day or night. I didn’t call myself, but it’s good to know that’s an option if I ever needed to get through to someone as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Big Dollar Casino deserves extra praise for its customer service. Combined with quick withdrawals, this is a huge positive for this casino and is one of its strong suits. A telephone hotline always goes over well with me.

Would I Play at Big Dollar Casino?

No casino is 100% perfect, but Big Dollar Casino is getting all of the important things right, and I’m happy to recommend it.

A solid range of games, more bonus cash than most of us could even afford to claim, and excellent customer service all make this casino worth a closer look. Don’t be put off by the fact that you won’t find NetEnt or Playtech here. The games are all good, and in fact, it’s nice to change it up sometimes!

Of course, the best way to decide if this is the right casino for you is to check it out for yourself.
