Casinos Around the World with the Best Slots Selection

Jackpot Slot

While online casinos are the main topic of this site, we also like to look into land casinos from time to time to remind ourselves what’s out there in the world of brick-and-mortar gambling.

As avid slot machine lovers, we decided to investigate which land casinos have the biggest selection of slot games on the planet.

It’s probably no surprise that many of these casinos are in gambling havens like Las Vegas and Macau. However, you might be surprised to learn that a fair few of them are located in places you might not immediately associate with gambling.

So, which casinos have the biggest slots selections? Let’s dive in and find out.

Foxwoods, Connecticut, USA

Foxwoods USA

One of the biggest casinos in the world sits in the unlikeliest of places – not Vegas, Macau, or Melbourne, but in Ledyard, Connecticut.

This casino is legendary, partly because of its massive size and partly because it offers 7,000 slot machines across its 340,000-square-foot gaming floor. When you’re bust, or you want to take a little time to relax between marathon slots sessions, you can relax in one of Foxwood’s 824 rooms, or you can go for some retail therapy in the adjacent mall.

Foxwoods is also significant because it’s operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, making it a fine example of the success of Native American casinos.

The Borgata, New Jersey, USA

Borgata means “little village” in Italian, but there’s nothing little about the Borgata. This casino-hotel is a massive 161,000 square feet and has more than 4,100 slot machines to choose from.

If you get tired playing all those slots, don’t worry; there are 17 bars and restaurants to get refreshments at, and if you feel the need to crash, the hotel has more than 2,000 rooms.

This is the kind of casino you could spend days in. Come to think of it, it might make for a great weekend destination in Atlantic City!

The Venetian Macao, Macau

The Venetian is technically the largest casino in the world, coming in at a staggering 546,000 square feet. However, it doesn’t offer the largest selection of slot machines, which is why it isn’t at the top of this list.

The Venetian isn’t exactly short on slot machines, though. It offers 3,000 of them, and there are close to 900 gaming tables offering blackjack, roulette, and a variety of other games.

If you win big and are looking to spend some of your cash on luxury, there are 3,000 hotel rooms and 24 bars and restaurants willing to serve you.

The Crown Casino, Melbourne, Australia

Crown Casino

The Land Down Under has its very own super-casino, and it’s a sight to behold. It sits right on the waterfront and is infamous for the massive pillars of fire which burn in front of it.

The Crown Casino offers 2,500 slot machines across its 220,000-square-foot gaming floor. It’s also a hotel, as you might have guessed, and it has over 1,600 rooms to stay at.

Melbourne is known as one of the best cities in the world, so if you do win a fortune, there will be plenty to spend it on while you’re in town!

Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore

Resorts World

They say Singapore is a fine city, mostly because you can get fined by the police for doing just about anything other than walking in a straight line to your destination.

However, it does boast one of the biggest casinos in the world, Resorts World Sentosa, and it has a selection of 2,400 slot machines to keep you entertained if you ever find yourself in that part of Asia.

Resorts World casinos are dotted all over Southeast Asia, and the name suits them since they are literally resorts. This one has 470 rooms and can accommodate up to 35,000 people at any given time. Wow!

The MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA

MGM Grand

There are few Vegas casinos with a reputation as storied as the MGM Grand. This casino calls itself the “City of Entertainment” (it’s right on the sign outside it), and at 170,000 square feet in size, it’s not entirely a misnomer.

The MGM Grand is renowned for its luxurious interior and live entertainment. Some of the biggest names in show business have graced this casino throughout the ages.

The MGM Grand offers 2,300 slot machines to choose from, as well as plenty of table and card games.

If you want to stay overnight, or for longer, there are more than 5,000 rooms to choose from ranging from family suites to huge penthouses overlooking the Strip.

The Bellagio, Las Vegas, USA

The casino from the world-famous Ocean’s 11 movie wasn’t going to let the MGM Grand outdo it with a larger slots selection! This legendary casino also offers 2,300 slot machines, tying it with one of its biggest rivals.

Like many Vegas casinos, The Bellagio is an entertainment complex which you could spend your entire trip to Vegas in. It offers 3,950 rooms to crash in ranging from suites to penthouses, and there are floors of restaurants, bars, and cafes to spend your comp points in.

The City of Dreams, Macau

City Of Dreams

If you ever want to catch a quick glimpse into what the world will look like in the future, just Google “The City of Dreams, Macau.” This futuristic casino looks phenomenal both outside and inside.

Inside is where the action happens, of course. The City of Dreams offers every casino game under the sun, with 1,350 slot machines to keep you spinning the reels for as long as your bankroll lasts.

You’re bound to get tired after that, so The City of Dreams offers 1,400 rooms to stay in, and there are all kinds of restaurants, bars, and even a disco in the 420,000-square-foot complex.

Now that’s more like a small city!

Some Other Noteworthy Land Casinos

While the casinos listed above are what we would define as super-casinos, there are some other land-based casinos offering lots of slots which we feel deserved to make the list.

While the numbers here aren’t as impressive, that’s mainly because the slots casinos listed above are big beyond belief. These still knock the socks off most casinos around the world!

  • Casino Lisboa – This casino is located in Portugal’s capital city and offers 1,000 slot machines.
  • The Venetian – One of the most iconic and memorable casinos in Las Vegas, the Venetian offers 1,000 slot machines.
  • Sands Macau – This Asian city didn’t get its reputation as a gambling Mecca for nothing. This is another Macau casino with a huge selection of slots. This one offers 750 games on its floor.
  • Atlantis Bahamas – Paradise wouldn’t quite be complete without somewhere to spin the reels with a cocktail in hand, would it? This island casino offers 700 slot machines in total.
  • Tusk Rio Resort – No, this casino isn’t in Rio de Janeiro; it’s in South Africa. It has 257 slots and plenty more, too.

Don’t Forget Real-World Casinos

There’s no doubt that online casinos have lots of advantages over their land-based counterparts, but from time to time, it’s nice to put on your best clothes, take a wad of cash out of the safe, and head down to mingle with other gamblers in brick-and-mortar casinos.

If you live anywhere near the casinos mentioned above or ever find yourself close to them, they’re well worth checking out. We haven’t been to all of them, but between us, the team has been to a few, and they’re all worth a visit.
