Slots Plus got their start online in 2002. This year marks their 15th year anniversary. Which makes them an OG as far as online gambling is concerned.

But does that mean they’re any good? Are they worth your time, trust and hard-earned money as we head into 2019, and beyond?

We’ll be answering that question later on in our review.

For now, let’s start with the basics.

What Banking Options Can You Use?

The deposit options Slots Plus accepts include:

Method
Minimum Deposit
Maximum Deposit
Visa / MasterCard
$25
$500
MST Gift Cards
$20
$500
Neteller
$10
$2,500
Money Order
$50
$1,000

The biggest thing that sticks out to me here are the low max limits. $500 is tiny compared to other online casinos who typically allow you to deposit a couple thousand bucks, and often times more than that.

You can cash out your winnings from Slots Plus using:

Method
Minimum Cashout
Maximum Cashout
Check by Mail
$100
$399
Check by Courier
$400
$2,500
ACH Direct Deposit
$100
$1,250
Money Order
$100
$2,500
Neteller
$10
$5,000

Pretty standard stuff, as far as methods and limits are concerned.

What gets me is that they tell you to expect cash outs to take up to 2 weeks to process.

That’s absolutely ridiculous.

Assuming it does take 2 weeks, that means you’ll wait anywhere from 3-4 weeks just to get your payment (depending on which method you use).

The good news is I didn’t find any forum posts or reviews that said their cash outs have taken longer. And on top of that, they don’t charge any fees, which makes them one of the few remaining US casinos we know of that doesn’t.

So, it’s sort of a tradeoff – do you pay $25-$50 to get your check fast – with no guarantee it’ll be any faster than Slots Plus – or do you save the money and just wait it out?

My thoughts – I don’t mind so long as the shipping times are on point. Which means I’d wait no longer than 4 weeks in a worse-case scenario. That’s just me, though – you’ll have to decide what works best for you.

Note – Slots Plus’s terms say that if you don’t roll over your deposit at least 5x before requesting a cash out, that they will charge you fees based on your deposit and the deposit option you used.

One confusing thing, though – they say you can cash out up to $2,000 per week – with the possibility of more the higher your VIP Class Level – but that means you cannot max out some of the banking options. It seems to me like they’d lower the cash out limits to coincide with their weekly limits.

Maybe that’s just me, though.

Anyway, if you run into any problems – banking or otherwise – you can reach out to Slots Plus using the following methods:

Now let’s take a look at their promotions.

Thousands of Dollars in Promotions

Slots Plus has a lot of promotions running right now. Here are the details behind their core offers.

200% Double Match Bonus – Get a 200% match bonus up to $7,000. This has a 40x rollover on both your deposit and bonus before you can cash out – which is ridiculously high. Valid games for this bonus are ONLY slots, video slots, keno and scratch cards.

150% Second Deposit Bonus – They say that if you deposit $20 to $100,000 you’ll get $150 free. And that this bonus is cashable and there’s no cap on how much you can win.

This is sort of confusing because 150% match is not the same as $150 free.

Note – We found the max – $3,000 – in their terms and conditions. It would’ve been nice if they’d posted that next to the offer’s description, like their welcome bonus above.

You can play a wider range of games on this bonus compared to the 200% match offer. That includes video poker and blackjack, though the rollover can be as high as 90x depending on your VIP status. Not only that, but you still cannot play most table games – which includes craps, pontoon, Caribbean holdem, tri-card poker and roulette.

Tip – If you want to skip the bonus all you have to do is email support and they’ll remove it from your account.

400% Bonus – This is a 400% match bonus up to $10,000. You can play slots, scratch cards and keno. This has a standard 50x playthrough, but there’s no max cash out, which is cool to see.

$20 Free + 20 Free Spins – This is good for all slot machines.

Comp Points – You’ll get 1 point for every $8 to $15 spent (depending on the game and your player class). Then Slots Plus will convert your points into cash at the rate of $1 for every 100 points you accumulate. This conversion rate is average compared to other casinos. However, keep in mind you’ll need to roll your cash back over 12-18x. Once again, it depends on your VIP level.

That wraps up their core offers.

Then Slots Plus offers a large list of “members only” bonuses. The information for each one is only available from within your player account. But here’s the list of offers to give you a general idea of what you can expect:

  • Free trial
  • Refer-a-friend
  • Wild Wednesday – 300% bonus
  • Matchup Monday – 200% bonus you can use up to 10 times
  • Thank god its Saturday
  • Birthday bonus
  • Anniversary bonus
  • Super Sunday
  • Cash back Monday – get a $500 bonus
  • Slots plus loyalty program
  • Monthly bonus
  • Tournaments
  • Thirsty Thursday – free spins + 200% bonus
  • Mad Tuesdays and freak Friday – 250% bonus
  • Season bonus

They cover the important details (limits and rollover) on their general rules and regulations page.

Overall Thoughts on the Bonuses

It’s nice to see so many offers. You can’t complain about that.

But what I don’t like is how vague the information they give you is. Or, that you have to dig through their terms and conditions to find the basics, such as bonus limits or wager requirements.

Granted, their bonus terms and conditions page is FAR easier to read than other casinos. But that’s not the point. It’s pretty standard to include this information along with the offer description.

My only other complaint, or, rather a concern, is about their bonus sizing. Bonuses that are as big as $7,000 or $10,000 sound cool and exciting, but when you consider that you have to roll them over 40-50x on both the deposit AND bonus, it’s much less so. That’s a lot of money – tens, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Most people simply aren’t going to accomplish that. But they’ll get stuck with one of these bonuses, and then may never be able to cash out any winnings. That leads to that person having a bad experience, which is no good for anyone.

The other problem I have with large bonuses is the trust factor. Most legit casinos have much smaller bonuses – often less than $1,000. Look at 888Casino.com or Rizk Casino. Both of them offer less than $500. Heck, even Bovada’s $3,000 bonus pales in comparison to Slots Plus.

But those are just my opinions. And, you can claim a smaller portion of the bonus, or waive it altogether if you prefer. Just make sure you shoot them an email before you make a deposit.

Play More Than 100 Casino Games

I have mixed feelings about Slots Plus’s games.

On one hand, they use Real Time Gaming software. This means they have a diverse selection of more than 100 casino slots, table and video poker games.

On the other hand, Real Time Gaming software – not to mention only working with one software company – is so 2005. It’s outdated, and seemingly out of touch with what others in the industry are doing.

(Which, if you look at Slots Plus’s website, that’s a very real possibility.)

But many people also don’t care for RTG because they’re too relaxed with who they lease their software to. They also don’t publish their payout percentages, which is another common complaint.

I’ll give you my thoughts on their games in just a second. For now, let’s cover all the games you can play here.

  • Samba Sunset
  • Panda Magic

Not too much to say here. This is your standard list of slots. They cover all the casino-themed basics, such as Cherry Red, Cash Bandits and Sevens and Stripes.

However, there are a few interesting titles that play off of pop culture. For example, Vulcan, Orc vs Elf and The Elf Wars. Oh, and the Three Stooges. These are slot machines I’d play (first).

Anyway, there are plenty of slots to choose from. If you don’t need anything terribly fancy – if you’re good playing your standard 5-reel video slot title, then there’s plenty for you here.

Specialty Games

  • Bonus Bingo
  • Keno
  • Roaring Twenties Bingo

Pretty standard. I’ve got nothing to add here.

Table Games

  • Perfect Pairs
  • Blackjack
  • Caribbean Draw Poker
  • Caribbean Holdem
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • European Blackjack
  • Face Up 21
  • Let Em Ride
  • Pai Gow
  • Pontoon
  • Red Dog
  • Super 21
  • Texas Holdem Bonus
  • Tri Card Poker
  • War
  • Craps
  • Roulette
  • European Roulette

This is a good selection of table games. There’s a little something for everyone here. It looks like their limits range from $1 to $250, and sometimes as much as $1,000 (depending on the game).

Video Poker

  • 7-Stud Poker
  • Aces And Eights
  • All American Poker
  • Bonus Deuces Wild
  • Bonus Poker
  • Deuces Wild
  • Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Jackpot Poker
  • Double Jackpot Poker
  • European Slot Poker
  • Jacks Or Better
  • Joker Poker
  • Loose Deuces
  • Mystery 4 Of A Kind
  • Pick Em Poker
  • Seven Wild

Same thing here – this is a rather large and diverse selection of video poker games. That’s nothing to complain about.

And …that wraps up their game section.

As I said, it’s nothing terribly exciting. If you’ve been around for awhile, chances are you’re familiar with these games. But if not, there’s plenty for you to play.

One thing I didn’t care for is the spelling and grammar errors in their game listings. That might seem like I’m splitting hairs, but that attention to detail – or lack thereof – can often spill over in other areas of their business.

Let’s see, what else …well, they have both an instant play casino, or if you prefer – and you’re on a PC – you can download their software.

They have a mobile-compatible website, too. I checked it out on a newer iPhone and counted nearly 70 games. It’s a far cry from all the games available on their site, or in their download, but considering a couple years ago they only had around 15-20 mobile games, it’s a massive improvement.

Conclusion

I don’t have too much to say about them, one way or the other.

They seem like an average casino to me. And the average ratings they have across the web supports my thinking.

They have a few complaints, but that’s pretty standard considering they’ve been in business for 15 years. You’re bound to upset a few people when you’ve been in business that long.

Outside of that, though, it seems as if they’re a reputable company with solid customer support.

(As reputable as a casino based in Costa Rica can be, anyways.)

And while I’m over Real Time Gaming’s software, there are lots of people who have yet to play them who’ll enjoy having a diverse selection of 100+ casino games to choose from. While clearing Slots Plus’s thousands of dollars worth in bonuses, no less.

Anyway, all this said, my preference – and, ultimately my recommendation – would be to join Bovada, Ignition Casino or Slots.lv before ever stepping foot here. I suggest you do the same.

But, if you already have accounts at all those casinos, or for whatever reason you disagree with me, feel free to check out Slots Plus. There’s no good reason I can think of not to.

Adding a comment here because Slots Plus is no longer even providing support. They are collecting deposits but they do not payout winners anymore. I have contacted RTG to see if they can shut them down. Check for yourself. Live Chat not manned...leave a message no answer. I have a small payout of $2500 that has been sitting for 45 days and no one will respond. Completely legit payout with no bonus used and it still has not been paid. They slow paid me one time about a year ago so I went back to play again...but this time no one is working support so I doubt there is anyone even around to handle payouts. Do not play...they are just collecting deposits. I doubt they are paying the affiliates anymore as well.
