Welcome to my complete Power Spins online casino review. I’m going to be covering a lot of ground here, so whatever questions you have about this casino site, you can be sure they’ll be answered by the time you’re done reading.

Power Spins has made quite a name for itself since coming online in 2017, mostly because it is one of the early casinos to do away with wagering requirements altogether.

As with all my the other reviews on this site, you can expect to be told the plain and simple truth here. I like to call it like I see it, and that’s why so many of you become long-term readers who come back for more. It’s a win-win situation.

First, I’ll cover a little bit about Power Spins in a general sense. After that, it’s time to dig deeper and uncover the details about each element of this slots casino in turn.

About Power Spins Casino

BGO Entertainment, the group behind Power Spins, is a huge casino brand here in the UK with a constant presence on TV. When I heard that they were launching a new casino especially for slots players, I was excited to check it out.

When I discovered that Power Spins had done away with the concept of wagering requirements entirely and that it had brought slots from NetEnt, Playtech, and IGT together in one place, I knew I had to sign up and have a few spins immediately.

What you’ll read in the rest of this review is my own honest views on how Power Spins stands up against other casinos on the web. I’ll discuss its strengths and weaknesses, and, as always, I won’t pull any punches. I believe in tough love for online casinos, as that makes the entire industry better for everyone.

I’ll look at the games, the bonuses, which Power Spins claims have “no strings attached”, and just about everything important such as usability, customer service, and payout methods/speed.

Let’s take Power Spins apart piece by piece and see if the claims to be “wagering requirement free” stand up to scrutiny.

Software Suppliers

Power Spins offers casino games from some of the most respected software firms out there. This is one of the things which immediately caught my eye when I first landed on the site.

Games at Power Spins are provided by:

  • Playtech
  • NetEnt
  • IGT
  • Bally Technologies
  • Barcrest
  • WMS
  • Ash Gaming

I have no concerns about any of these companies. They all have long, established histories and between them have released some of the best video slots ever created. This gives me a lot of confidence in the quality of the games at this site.

The Good Stuff

No Wagering Requirements on Free Spins

Good Stuff
I admit, I saw this offer and thought “Yeah, right!”

I was proven wrong by Power Spins. There are actually no wagering requirements on any free spins this casino gives you, meaning what you win is yours to keep.

This extends beyond the welcome bonus, too. Regular players will unlock lots of free spins throughout the course of playing at this casino. All of those are free from wagering requirements as well.

This is definitely impressive and Power Spins is a pioneer in this regard. I predict wagering requirements will be dead in a few years, and Power Spins will be able to say it was one of the original trendsetters.

Amazing Range of Slots

I’ve played at many online casinos with a few “headline” games and lots of “filler” ones. I’m sure you understand what I mean if you play slots online regularly.

Power Spins delivers hundreds of high-quality slots from multiple world-class software companies like Playtech, NetEnt, and IGT.

Better yet, there are lots of progressive jackpots up for grabs. If you want a shot at becoming a millionaire, you won’t be stuck for choice here.

I’ve created a list of recommended slots below. For now, let’s just say that slots players won’t be disappointed here.

Superior User Experience

I visited Power Spins on both my iMac and my android mobile device, and in both cases I found the user experience to be close to flawless.

The layout is simple, the colour scheme is eye-catching, and everything is intuitive. There are no flashing banners or confusing menus. It’s all as easy as A-B-C to use.

Importantly, I experienced no freezes or jumps either while navigating the site or playing the games. This is a big plus for any online casino.

The Bad Stuff

Small Fees When Making Deposits and Withdrawals

Bad Stuff
I feel a little cheap even mentioning this since the fees are minuscule, but every little adds up. I’m one of those players who doesn’t like to deposit large amounts. I’m far more like to make several small deposits over the course of an evening or weekend.

Those little £0.50 fees on the £20 deposits I like to make could be five spins on a slot at £0.10 per spin. To me, that’s five chances of winning a jackpot missed.

I get that casinos have operating expenses, but these fees could easily be done away with and Power Spins would be just fine.

No Live Games

I’m a big baccarat fan, and when I do play it I like to play against live dealers.

Unfortunately, Power Spins doesn’t offer any live casino games. I was a little disappointed to discover this, even though I knew going in that this was a casino for slots players, first and foremost.

There are some virtual card games, but it’s not quite the same. I’d like to see a Power Spins live casino added in the future.

Game Selection

It’s clear even from the name of this casino that it’s made for slots players. Yet, while slots do make up the overwhelming majority of the games on offer here (there are 473 of them), there are some digital table and card games, too.

The one type of game you won’t find at Power Spins is live games. That’s a shame because they are undoubtedly the future of card and table games.

Video Poker

There is a small selection of video poker games, which should keep casual players happy. These include:

  • Aces and Faces
  • Deuces Wild
  • Jacks or Better
  • Jacks or Better Progressive

While this is a tiny offering compared to many other casinos online, the important thing is that the games are high-quality, as you would expect from Playtech.

If you are a video poker fan you should note that you can save these games to your favourites list by clicking the little star icon in the top right on each game. That’s a cool feature and I always appreciate it when I come across it. I advise using it as there’s no “video poker” section on the game menu, meaning you have to search for the games manually each time you visit.

Table Games

While there are no live dealer games at Power Spins, there are enough digital card and table games to keep most casual players satisfied. These are almost all blackjack and roulette variants. Games include:

  • Baccarat
  • Casino hold’em
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Blackjack Switch
  • Blackjack Pro
  • Blackjack Surrender
  • Progressive Blackjack
  • Perfect Blackjack
  • 21 Duel Blackjack
  • Double Attack Blackjack
  • Pontoon
  • Cashback Blackjack
  • Lucky Lucky Blackjack
  • Buster Blackjack
  • European Roulette
  • American Roulette
  • Penny Roulette
  • Age of the Gods Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • Roulette Pro
  • 3D Roulette
  • Video Roulette
  • Club Roulette
  • Pinball Roulette
  • Diamond Bet Roulette
  • Roulette Deluxe

These are all Playtech games, so the quality is world-class. I also like that along the bottom of the game screen you will see a list of your “last played” games. This makes it easy to jump back to a previous game you fancy more of.

This isn’t a massive selection of games, and as you can see, most of them are actually variants of the main two games mentioned before. That said, this will likely be enough to satisfy most slots players who dip their toes in the card and table games pool from time to time.

This is what Power Spins is all about, and as an avid slots player myself, I have to say I’m impressed with the selection.

There are 473 video slots in total, and 79 of those are jackpot slots. Some life-changing wins are possible here as games like Mega Fortune, Gladiator Jackpot, and the IGT Mega Jackpots series are available.

I advise having a few spins on the following:

  • Mega Fortune
  • Twin Spin
  • 88 Fortunes
  • Guns n’ Roses
  • Age of the Gods
  • Motorhead
  • Koi Princess
  • Wheel of Fortune
  • Batman & Catwoman Cash
  • Neon Life
  • Drive Multiplier Mayhem
  • Dazzle Me
  • Beach Life
  • Beowulf
  • Cleopatra Mega Jackpots
  • Dead or Alive
  • Excalibur
  • Lights
  • Flowers
  • Gladiator Jackpot
  • Halloween Fortune II
  • Jackhammer II
  • LobsterMania
  • Rainbow Riches

There are, of course, many more great slots at Power Spins. I selected these because they have huge jackpots and/or great features.

It’s always nice to see so many different top-level software providers in the lineup. Playtech, NetEnt, IGT, Bally Technologies and the others are literally masters of slot creation. I couldn’t find a single game that would make me say “Nah!”

You won’t be able to play the slots in “demo mode” at this casino. You’ll have to pay to play for real money.

Power Spins doesn’t have a lot of different bonuses and promotions, but rather offers one welcome bonus and a long-term, ongoing rewards program for loyal regular players.

When examined closely, this might actually be better than having a different bonus for every day of the week. I’ll let you be the judge of that for yourself, but I am reasonably impressed with the ongoing offer.

Welcome Bonus

All new players are entitled to 50 free spins with no wagering requirements.

These aren’t free spins no deposit, as you probably already suspected. You will actually get one free spin for every £1 deposited, up to a maximum of 50.

The only bits of small print you need to be aware of is the £10 minimum deposit (2.5% fee applies), a 3-day expiry on the free spins, and you’ll pay a £2.50 fee when you make a minimum withdrawal of £20.

So, it seems Power Spins is actually living up to its promise of no wagering requirements. However, the 2.5% and £2.50 fees are unnecessary and take the shine off this deal slightly. These aren’t huge amounts, by any means, but I can’t help but wonder why they would put these little annoyances into an otherwise phenomenal welcome offer.

Power Spins Ongoing Rewards

You’ve probably seen lots of daily free spins and weekend cashback offers at casinos across the web.

Power Spins takes a different approach to rewarding regular players. Everyone is assigned a “power bar” upon creating a new account, and this fills up as you play. Each time your power bar fills up you “level up” and unlock a “power up”.

What are Power-Ups? They are more free spins with no wagering requirements. You could get anywhere between five and 100 each time.

At any time you can check which Power-Ups you have unlocked in your “vault”. Once you unlock them all, you officially become a Power Spins VIP, although there’s very little information on what exactly that entails (see below).

There are plenty of ways to make deposits and withdrawals at Power Spins (outlined below).

However, it is worth noting that there are fees on both deposits and withdrawals. I find it odd that a casino would want to charge a fee for you putting money in, although I understand that some expenses have to be covered with regards taking money back out.

The fees aren’t massive (£0.50 on a £20 deposit, up to £6.25 on a £200 deposit), but they are a minor annoyance. I’d much rather use that money to spin the reels, personally. Note, however, that if you deposit £500 or more there’s no fee.

Withdrawal times are pretty standard as compared to other casinos. You’ll get your cash the same day if you use web wallets like PayPal or Skrill, and within 3-5 business days if you opt for card withdrawals or bank transfers.

Power Spins has not embraced cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, so those aren’t an option here.

Deposit Methods

  • Credit Cards
  • Debit Cards
  • Paypal
  • Skrill
  • Neteller
  • Paysafecard
  • Instant Banking

Withdrawal Methods

  • Credit Cards
  • Debit Cards
  • Skrill
  • Neteller

I like that there are plenty of ways to withdraw relative to the deposit methods. Too many casinos let you deposit by any means, then make it difficult to get your cash back out by offering just one or two withdrawal methods.

VIP Program

Power Spins is tight-lipped about what being a VIP means. All they will say is that you have to unlock every level within the rewards program and “crack the vault” before you can be considered a VIP and then the benefits of being a VIP will be “unleashed” upon you.

This is done by playing games and filling up the “power bars” at each level. You’ll be rewarded with free spins every time you reach a new milestone along the way to becoming a VIP.

What you get when you reach VIP status is a mystery until you get there. From reading some third-party forum posts, I was able to gather that it involves some of the usual stuff – faster payouts, enhanced customer service, and extra bonuses, for example.

Customer Service

Power Spins doesn’t offer a live chat feature for getting in touch, but that’s somewhat offset by the fact it does offer a freephone telephone hotline.

To speak to someone over the phone call 0300 053 8000. I didn’t call myself as I didn’t feel it was warranted for the simple questions I wanted to ask, but it’s an option and is available between 09:00-23:49 GMT, 7 days per week.

If you want to send an email, there’s a contact form directly on the site. I got a response within around 6 hours which directly answered the question I asked. That’s not a great response time, but it isn’t terrible either. You can also send an email directly to [email protected] and someone will get back to you between 08:30-00:00 GMT.

While these options are great, I definitely would like to see a live chat option added in the future. It’s just so much more efficient than email and works better for people like me who grew up in the digital era and are a little phone shy.

Would I Play at Power Spins Casino?

Power Spins is well worth playing at, especially if you love video slots.

I admit I was sceptical about the “no wagering requirements” claim, but it turns out to be true, after all. I think it’s totally fair to give one free spin for every £1 deposited, and I give Power Spins huge credit for leading the way in getting rid of wagering requirements.

The games are world class, the bonuses are fair, loyal players are generously rewarded, and the user experience overall is top-notch. What’s not to like about Power Spins?
